IDLEB– A new mass grave containing the bodies of security and police forces martyrs murdered by armed terrorist groups was uncovered on Monday in Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb governorate.
SANA's correspondent in Idleb reported that the mass grave was uncovered in the presence of 70 Arab and foreign diplomats, in addition to many correspondents of mass media sources.
The Political Administration and the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry organized a tour of Jisr al-Shughour for accredited Arab and foreign diplomats and journalists to witness firsthand the situation in the city.
The delegation, composed of 70 diplomats and mission heads in addition to a number of media representatives from several Arab and foreign countries, inspected the mass grave discovered at al-Abyadh River, western Jisr al-Shugour, and the security center destroyed by armed groups after killing its members.
Forensic Examiner Zaher Hajjo pointed out in a press statement to the atrocity of those crimes through the situation of bodies which have been mutilated and cut into pieces.
He added that the cause of death is intensive shooting and explosion.
He noted that he has never seen such cases in his life which reflects the horrible crimes committed by armed groups against security and police officers.
Jamal Sleiman, who owns a quarry near the crime location, said, "On June 6th, a number of cars came and asked my youngest son to bring a vehicle used for digging to the location under threats. He dug a large hole and when he finished they brought out of the cars more than 20 bodies and buried them in the hole".
A Russian journalist said that they got a horrible impact of the magnitude of crimes, pointing out that they have never seen such crimes anywhere in the world.
