The delegation included directors of General Electric and Bechtel, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Dow Chemical, ExxonMobil, Marriott and several other American giants. The American companies' chiefs said their investments in Egypt stable and successful, adding that they are optimistic about the future and is considering expanding the scope of their investments here.
For his part, Sharaf admitted that the Egyptian economy has suffered a decline in its indicators as a natural result of the revolution, but it started to revive.Sharaf hailed the US support, noting that US investments will have a significant role in development of the Egyptian economy
