CAIRO, (PIC)-- Political bureau chairman of Hamas Khaled Mishaal has lauded the Egyptian intelligence for its national and effective role in concluding the prisoners exchange deal with Israel.
He told the Egyptian CBC TV network on Saturday evening that the Egyptian and Palestinian negotiators managed to break a number of Israeli red lines and succeeded in liberating 1027 prisoners whose freedom was far away.
Mishaal said that the “historic” deal followed strenuous efforts.
The Hamas supreme leader denied news reports that his movement’s political bureau had officially asked Egypt to host its members, adding that the political bureau of Hamas would remain in Syria for the time being.

Jordanian daily Al-Arab had quoted “reliable” sources as saying that Mishaal would meet during his visit with senior Jordanian officials and that his visit would end a rupture between Hamas and Jordan that lasted for many years.
