In Gaza, Zionist air forces committed new terror-attacks on Saturday. Five resistant fighters, members of Islamic Jihad including a regional commander Sheikh Ahmad Khalil of al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, was murdered. The first deadly raid was followed by two others. Four martyrs was killed on duty, two of them in the south, near the border of Rafah, two near the airport of Gaza. After the tacit cease-fire approached by the Zionist entity, also a member of DFLP, the Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine was killed by enemy aircraft, which continued its raids over Gaza throughout the day on Sunday.
The Palestinian resistance has responded immediately to these new major terror-attacks. Rocket batteries were put in motion and al-Quds Brigades have launched attacks against several Zionist settlements in the south of the occupied Palestine: The colonies of Ashdod and Ofakim was hit by three Grad-type rockets, the Karm Abu Salem site by two shells, and the colony Netev Haasar by a rocket, Sderot and Ascalan by four al- Quds rockets. One Zionist is reported killed and 48 are wounded. The spokesperson for the al-Quds Brigades, Abu Ahmad, said yesterday that the resistance will fight back and retaliate to any further attacks from the Zionists.” The enemy has committed a heinous crime, by killing our leaders and cadres of al-Quds Brigades - and considering that this increase of violence against Gaza is the most severe in several months. The al – Quds Brigades will retaliate in a clear and precise way. We can speak of calm, but what is most important to us, are our martyrs, so our response will be appropriate and swift. "
In a public statement, al-Quds Brigades announced that the Zionist entity targeted and bombarded a training camp under supervision of the martyred Sheikh Ahmad Khalil, whom earlier have escaped several assassination attempts. For his part, Ahmad Mudallal, a member of the leadership of Islamic Jihad in Gaza, said that; by killing five of the movement fighters, the enemy's hope is to break the will of the Palestinian resistance, and to end the feeling of calm and joy that have embraced Gaza and the Palestinian territories since the prisoner release deal with the occupant was carried out less than two weeks ago.
Hamas for its part, denounced the crime and is holding the Zionist government accountable and responsible for consequences that may be the result of the assault on the resistance in Gaza. The armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees and the PFLP asserts that the Zionist occupant will be held responsible for its crimes. By continuing attacks on Gaza, the Zionist occupant have ones again proved they are not genuinely serious in bringing an end to its violence and make peace with the Palestinian people.
. ..Lessen the impact of the Israeli fiasco
According to various analysts and commentators; there are several reasons for these new Zionist attacks against the resistance in Gaza;
...
.Firstly, the regret from what they see as a defeat, a mistake done, that took place in the exchange deal of Palestinian political prisoners against the Zionist soldier Gilad Shalit. The Zionist attacks on the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, was a show of military superior force, a showoff to the world that they still hold the power of initiative and that its weaponry can continue to kill swiftly.Secondly, the exchange of one Zionist soldier against Palestinian political prisoners, was seen by the Zionists, as a fiasco - not their victory. Hence, there is a call for murder of freed prisoners in the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds, launched by settlers and supported by their leaders, the Zionist officials. In their weird way of thinking, in their arrogant and psychotic murderous power position on Gaza, the Zionist Jews, believe that an attack against the Palestinian resistance, would limit the impact of their fiasco. Instead of dealing with their confrontational behavior in response to a growing worldwide contempt for its erratic violent actions, the Zionist entity continue to characterize itself as a very sick colonial and racist society, which consider itself to be above the law, to the inhabitants of earth and the heavenly body of Universe.
The Zionist entity has sought to end the climate of calm and enthusiasm among the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, where recently most of the political prisoners were released. Inside the occupied 48, the Zionists Jews attempted again to divert attention from its internal problems, were its population is preparing to confront its leaders on matters of economic policy. Since the Zionist society in all aspects consider and favor the cries of war - killing the resistance and Palestinians in general, such a provocation of the Zionist army against the resistance in Gaza has for long been used to reduce the negative effect of internal dissent. In addition, the armed formation of one such single attack, the one on Islamic Jihad, was aimed at sowing discord between different resistance groups. The Zionist Jews believed that other defense unites responses, including that of Hamas, would state unwillingness to take part in the resistance against the occupant, and leave the Islamic Jihad to face the Zionist war-machine alone. But the firmness in the voice of Hamas leaders has prevented such a disunion among the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
What some use to call, also this time, "escalating violence" is in reality an escalating aggression, carried out by the Zionist entity against the resistance, who confront with fire and resist.
For the leaders of Islamic Jihad, there is not a question of allowing its fighters to assassinate people; any attack will be immediately rejected.This is what Islamic Jihad said, in response to the Egyptian mediator which the Zionists called upon, in a request to return to the state of calm. Surprised by the striking force of the Palestinian resistance, Zionist leaders immediately turned to Egypt, asking for help to intervene, with the aim to return to calm. However for the resistance, a cease fire may be unilateral.The army of the occupation must also commit to stop its attacks.
Once again, the army of occupation sought the Palestinian calm, but a provocation must be faced with an impasse. The new Zionist confrontation has proved that the Palestinian resistance is capable of threatening the peace of two million Zionists in occupied Palestine, and that Islamic Jihad among other arsenal of defense, has access to powerful weapons and long-distance rockets. The keyed up Zionist media have suggested the possibility of a Palestinian strike on Tel Aviv. Zionist leaders did not expect a response as severe, nor as fast. Again, they demanded Egyptian mediation, some voices within the government, will call for a war against Gaza and the resistance there, others will demand their leaders to seek peace in fear of being dragged into a new war they cannot not see the consequences of in advance,or see any whatsoever benefits of, on the ground, or understand the consequences internationally.

Egypt is not longer the old Egypt,a puppet state who oppressed its own people, to be able to maintain peace with the Zionist entity and continue to keep close ties with America, and today no more Arab countries are in the situation where its citizens have to notify its officials and explain why they want to visit Palestine.
Cease-fire - right to response and right to resistance
.
If the Palestinian resistance in Gaza this time accept cease-fire as it did before, since the criminal war on Gaza at the turn of 2008-2009, it would absolutely not deny its right to respond after each attack of the army of the Zionist entity. This is what the leaders of Islamic Jihad urged in meetings with the Egyptian mediator; that any cease-fire must be bilateral (between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist enemy), balanced and simultaneous.
It is true that the Zionist army continued its air strikes, even after the cease-fire, killing two resistance fighters on Monday at dawn. For the Zionists, it is a way to say that they have complete power of the situation, still willing to break any cease-fire, when deemed necessary. The Palestinian resistance, which respected the cease-fire concluded on Sunday night, did not ask for proof of Zionist superiority through a new crime committed against them.
Beyond the right to response, the Palestinian resistance has also asserted its right to continue its resistance. In an interview with Al-Quds TV, Haytham Abu Ghazlan media responsible for information of the Islamic Jihad in Lebanon, stressed that the resistance is in a situation of permanent/temporary cease-fire, since the occupation and colonization of Palestine, the Palestinian people have lived their entirely life in war and resistance against the Zionist enemy. The cease-fire is only a temporary situation that allows the resistance to gather it's forces, and solve it's problems. It’s also response to attacks and to repel the enemy, in consequence; therefore the very presence of armed resistance should be considered legitimate and be defended.

According to Abu Haytham Ghazlan, the incontrovertible right and need to always return to the base of the conflict, which is the very presence of the Zionist entity in the region. Right to respond, yes, but also right to resistance, as long as Palestine is occupied - and as long as Palestinian refugees can not return to their homeland.
