Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad received Saturday a delegation from the Turkish Felicity (Saadet) Party, headed by its leader Mustafa Kamalak.
The two sides discussed the laest developments in Syria, while the delegation expressed its condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack that took place Friday in Damascus killing 26 people and wounding 63others.
According to SANA, Kamalak reflected the Turkish people’s supportive stance to Syria and rejected any foreign intervention in its internal affairs, hoping that the bilateral relations between the two countries would go back to normal.
In contrast, the Syrian news agency quoted President Al-Assad as stressing the deep-rooted relations between the Syrian and Turkish peoples, and stating that these cannot be damaged due to the geographic, historic and brotherly relation that connects them.
In conclusion, the delegation said it would convey the real image of what is happening in Syria and will help Syria overcome this crisis.
