US: ‘Muslim Brotherhood is not anti-Israel’

Israel-Firster Hillary Clinton’s spokeswoman, Victoria Jane Nuland (a Zionist Jew), told reporters on Thursday that leaders of Israel’s most feared Egyptian Islamist party, Muslim Brotherhood, have assured Washington it will honor the 1979 Camp David peace deal with the Zionist regime.

Vitoria, however, down-played Rashad Bayoumi, MB deputy leader’s statement, translated from Arabic by Israeli Memri, that MB will not recognize Israel under “any circumstances”. It’s Memri which coined the term “Ahmadinejad wants to wipe of Israel off map” – even though Ahmadinejad never mentioned word ‘Israel’ in his speech in Persian in 2008. “He is but one member of Muslim Brotherhood. The party will be judged what it does,” said Nuland.

On Friday, the partial results in the third round of Egyptian election indicate that the Muslim Brotherhood is going to emerge as the major winner followed by Saudi-dominated Salafist Nour Party.
As the MB is set to gain outright majority in the new Egyptian parliament, Washington began signaling it has changed its decades of mistrust and hostility as it seeks to forge closer ties with the organization once blamed as anti-USrael interests in the region. MB was also blamed for its ties with Palestinian resistance group Hamas and its support for Tehran and Hizbullah.

Last month, Senator John Kerry, chairman of Foreign Relations Committee and Washington’s ambassador in Cairo, Ann W. Patterson, met with top MB political leaders.

You’re certainly going to have to figure out how to deal with democratic governments that don’t espouse every policy or value you have. The United States needs to deal with the new reality. And it needs to step up its game. They certainly expressed a direction that shouldn’t be a challenge to us, provided they follow through. Obviously the proof will be in the pudding,” said John Kerry after the meeting.

In June 2011, Hillary Clinton herself had claimed in a news conference: “We believe, given the changing political landscape in Egypt, that it is in the interests of the United States to engage with all parties that are peaceful, and committed to non-violence“.

Strangely, Obama administration has stood against Zionist Lobby’s campaign to stop $1.3 billion annual military aid to Egypt’s ruling military junta.

Even after almost six decades of corrupt secularist Arab nationalist rule – the Egyptian society remains religious in large. The tolerance between Muslim-majority and Christian-minority with the exception of few incidents – remains an example for the Islamophobe West to follow.

A 2011 Gallup Poll had reported that though 96% of Egyptians believe religion to be important, and 92% say that they have confidence in religious institutions, most Egyptians still believe religious leaders should be limited to an advisory role and not have the authority to determine the country’s laws. It reported that only 1% support Iranian-style ‘theocracy’.

The fear of ‘Islamists’ created by Zionist warmongerers is based on their own duplicity – that’s since they’re not truthful, their enemies cannot be truthful either. Muslim Brotherhood is not an armed Resistance group like Islamic Hamas or Islamic Hizbullah – and therefore, cannot pose a threat to Jewish occupation of Palestine.
