Lobby: ‘Harvard wants to eliminate Israel’

Some student groups at Harvard Kennedy School along with the ’Jewish Voice for Peace’ are organizing a ‘One State Conference‘ on Palestine at the Campus on March 3-4, 2012. The organizers have clearly stated that it’s a student run event which doesn’t represent the views of the Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University or any Harvard school or centrer. However, this explaination didn’t satisfy the international pro-Israel watchdog, Abraham Foxman, national director of ADL. He wrote a letter to Harvard’s President Dr. Catherine Drew Gilpin Faust (her second husband, professor Charles E. Rosenberg, is Jewish), claiming that the conference is meant to “promote the elimination of Israel as the national homeland of the Jewish people“. One has to forgive Abe Foxman’s ignorance that 20% of Israeli citizen are non-Jewish and the fact that more Jewish people live in New York state than in Israel but Washington would not recognize NY as a ‘Jewish state’.

According to ADL press release on February 24, both Dr. Faust and Dean David T. Ellwood have assured Abe Foxman on phone that Harvard University did not accept any policy that would lead to the elimination of state of Israel.

I want to emphasize once again that Harvard University and the Harvard Kennedy School in no way endorses or supports the apparent position of these student organizers or any participants they include. We hope that the final shape of the conference will be significantly more balanced,” Ellwood said in a released statement.

America’s one of top Jewish Islamophobe, David Horowitz’s FrontPage magazine published Zionist Jew Steven Plaut’s anti-conference rant on February 21. “Harvard University is a school of rich tradition. And in a few days, it will be restoring a great Harvard tradition dating back to the 1930s: the tradition of hosting Nazis and violent anti-Semites on campus seeking the mass murder of Jews“. In my humble knowledge no Muslim speaker ever visited Harvard in the 1930s and it were Zionist Jewish groups which were sleeping with the Nazis in the 1930s. The most notorious Jewish academic at the Harvard happens to be professor of economic, Jeffrey Schas, who with his Jewish Harvard colleague, David Lipton and Yegor Gaidar, a Russian Jew, who became Yeltin’s first prime minister – raped Russia.

Gerald Burstyn wrote in World Jewish Daily: “Ladies and gentlemen, you should be scared. When the nation’s top university hosts a conference dedicated to discussing ways to wipe Israel off the map, well, Boston’s Jews may be next“.

Interestingly, Zionist media ignored to mention that even the past President of Harvard, Dr. Lawrence H. Summers (2001-2006) was Jewish while his predecessor, Dr. Neil Rudenstine (1991-2001) was born to a Russian Jewish father and Italian Jewish-Catholic mother.

The speakers at the conference will include Israeli-Jewish professor Ilan Pappe (University of Exeter, UK), Dr. Stephen M. Walt, Jewish professor Marc H. Ellis (Baylor University), professor Dalit Baum (University of Haifa), Timothy McCarthy (Harvard), Rabbi Brant Rosen, professor Nadim Rouhana (Tuft University), professor Sarah Schulman (City University, NY), etc.

The so-called ‘two-state solution’ proposed in the notorious Balfour Declaration (1917) is long dead. The only practical solution for the occupied “Promised Land” is ‘One democratic Palestine state with equal rights for both the foreign Jews and the native Muslim and Christian Palestinians. Rest every so-called “option on table” is BS.

Harvard University (Ivy League) is the oldest institution of higher education in United States. It was established in 1636 and was named after John Harvard of Charlestown, who upon his death in 1938 left his library and half his estate to the institution. Harvard has a Center for Jewish Studies. Its visiting scholars for the 2011-2012 academic year are: Michal Bar-Asher Siegal (Tel Aviv University), Elitzur Bar-Asher Siegal, Meir Ben-Shahar and Yishai Kiel, all from Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Jewish students accounts more than 30% at Harvard University. By 1993, Jews headed five of the eight Ivy League institutions.
