“Israel cannot do to Iran what Bibi wants done to Iran. Only Obama can. If there is no US attack on Iran by November, and Obama wins, there may never be a US ataack on Iran. No wonder Bibi is frustrated,” Patrick J. Buchanan, Anti-War, April 17, 2012.
The first round of renewed talks between P5+1 and Iran in Istanbul – was a strategic defeat for Netanyahu. He blasted Cathrine Ashton, EU foreign policy chief for giving Iran a freebie. “It has got five weeks to continue enrichment without any limitation, any inhibition,” lamented Netanyahu.
Netanyahu’s hawkish partners in the newly unity government are worried sick that P5+1 may compromise with Iranian demand during May 23 meeting in Baghdad. Therefore, the Zionist-controlled mainstream media has started the rumor-mill to sabotage the meeting.
Now, the Associated Press has claimed that it has received an image of an explosive containment chamber needed for nuclear arms related tests from ‘a source’ who claims that he has seen the chamber at the Parchin military site.
There are thousands of scholars and scientists who are still waiting to meet some reliable person who might have seen gas chambers at Auschwitz. In fact, Dr. Franciszek Piper, director Auschwitz Museum admitted that the gas chamber story was fabricated by Russians after the WW II.
It’s not the first time the Israeli propaganda experts produced such ‘smoking gun’. Remember Colin Powell’s proof of Iraqi WMD facility he presented to UN Security Council?
On March 11, 2012, Israeli propaganda mouthpiece, The Daily Beast, published an interview IAEA Director General Yukia Amano, gave to Michael Adler. Yukia Amano, a US political stooge, repeated USraeli demand that Iran open Parchin military facility to IAEA inspectors. Iran refused to do that during Istanbul meeting due to fear that the classified military information could be used by Israel to bomb the underground facility.
Gareth Porter, an investigating journalist and author, has called Amano’s demand as adding another hurdle for Iran to clear. Access to Parchin has not been the issue in Iran’s negotiations with the IAEA. Iran’s permanent representative to the IAEA, Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh, has said that Iran is willing to grant access to Parchin as part of an agreed plan for Iranian cooperation with the IAEA.
Amano’s demands for immediate access to Parchin and for a process without any clear endpoint appear to be aimed at allowing the United States and its allies to continue accusing Iran of refusing cooperation with the IAEA during negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group scheduled to resume in Baghdad May 23.
Iran’s Envoy to the IAEA Ali Asghar Soltaniyeh is currently holding meeting with IAEA Deputy Director-General Herman Nackaerts in Vienna. During the meeting, Soltaniyeh told Nackaerts that only after an “unbaised framework” for future cooperation had been agreed could Iran consider an IAEA request for access to a military site.
Despite the rules enshrined in the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) entitling every member state, including Iran, to the right of uranium enrichment, Tehran is now under four rounds of UN Security Council sanctions for turning down West’s calls to give up its right of uranium enrichment.
Political observers believe that the United States has remained at loggerheads with Iran mainly over the independent and home-grown nature of Tehran’s nuclear technology, which gives the Islamic Republic the potential to turn into a world power and a role model for the other third-world countries. Washington has laid much pressure on Iran to make it give up the most sensitive and advanced part of the technology, which is uranium enrichment, a process used for producing nuclear fuel for power plants.
