The daily newspaper Le Figaro: A large number of of armed groups leaders killed by army in Aleppo

French daily, Le Figaro, said that many leaders of Syria’s armed groups were killed by army in the southwestern city of Aleppo.

Reporter, Adrian Golms, who entered Aleppo via Turkey reported about fierce battles between the army and armed groups in the neighborhood of Salah al-Din.

He reported that large number of militants’ leaders were killed by army during Aleppo operation.

The daily said that the militants have succeeded in positioning in some areas but failed to convince the Aleppo residents with their deeds, they stayed out of Western and northern districts of Aleppo, and remained in specific neighborhoods fighting a guerrilla war and moving from one building to another.
