The Palestinian Genocide : Slowly And Surely

Daniel Mabsout,

How would you feel if you were the mother of a Palestinian prisoner sentenced to life and you received- one day – one of the legs of your son -precisely the left leg- that has been amputated delivered to you by the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) in order to bury it.? This is not a horror story from some horror movie , and we are not here to scare you or… cheat you or tell you tales .

This is a real story that happened to the mother of Palestinian prisoner Nahed al Aqra’ sentenced to three life sentences and incarcerated since 2007 . His mother received today a chopped part of her son’s body to dispose of it and the Israelis explain this by saying that they had operated on the prisoner but the surgery failed and they had to amputate his leg . There is no way to check the truth of such a statement for no medical team or Red Cross or Palestinian organization has been allowed to check on the prisoner and come up with a medical report or a description of his health condition .

How do you feel about this ?And how do you think Nahed’s mother felt? The truth is that while rejoicing over the modest victory achieved by one prisoner who has been released and then recaptured to be released once more , we are forgetting the plight of thousands of Palestinian political prisoners rotting in Israeli prisons . These prisoners are left to confront their own destiny with bare hands. They have been forsaken by their organizations and left to meet their slow death at the hands of their executioners .

The truth is that all the Palestinian prisoners have been sentenced to death and this is the secret sentence that Israel has not mentioned but is determined to carry on .And the responsibility lies with the Palestinian Organizations who have left their heroes and the heroes of the cause to meet their dire death in Israeli prisons while they enjoy negotiation and normalization and recognition with all the personal benefits that come with it .

Within the liquidation of the cause on behalf of all factions comes the liquidation of the prisoners’ cause and that of the refugees. The Palestinian Authority and HAMAS do not know what to do with the prisoners and the refugees , so they decided to act as if they did not exist .

Why would Israel care about prisoners who were forsaken by their leaders ? Who would expect Israelis to care about Palestinian prisoners who were discarded by their own kith and kin? The Israelis and the Palestinian Organizations are both equally guilty in this instance ,and their criminal neglect has caused multiple NGOs to take hold of the prisoners’ case and meddle with it and even monopolize it.

With NGOs taking hold of the prisoners’ case, the situation and the conditions of the prisoners have worsen and there is a need to stop these NGOS from meddling into Palestinian prisoners’ affairs for the safety of the prisoners and the sanctity of their cause.
Since the last exchange against Israeli soldier Shalit sponsored by Egypt and carried on by HAMAS , things have not gone well . There is no prospect for the thousands of Palestinian prisoners as there is no prospect for the refugees in camps or for the Palestinian cause itself who were forced to flee their houses after the thugs of the opposition assaulted the camp.
The refugees are being driven out of Yarmouk camp by thousands and the prisoners are dying in Israeli prisons one after the other mostly from abuse . Their stories are heart breaking and- while we follow the tale of one of them as promoted by NGOs and celebrate his potential freedom and feel that we have achieved great things the other thousands of prisoners are left to face their unknown destiny at the hands of their executioners . They have the choice of starving themselves to death encouraged and hailed by NGOs or meet their dire end at the hands of their enemy.
