Special IOF forces train on climbing Aqsa walls

19/08/2009

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage has warned that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) are training on climbing the holy Aqsa Mosque’s walls in occupied Jerusalem.

It said in a statement on Tuesday evening that the step is meant to besiege and control the holy site.

The foundation said that the practice is a clear message that the Israeli occupation authority was bent on judaizing the Aqsa and the holy city.

It quoted eyewitnesses as saying that around 20 members of an IOF special unit were putting rope ladders on the Aqsa walls from the outside and training on climbing them up and down at the Maghareba area.
They added that the training continued for one hour.

Turkish writer publishes biggest Aqsa Mosque file on the internet

ISTANBUL, (PIC)– Turkish writer Ahmet Varol has prepared the biggest ever visual slideshow on the internet introducing the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem in Turkish language.

Varol told the PIC reporter on Monday that the 100 slides were meant to acquaint the readers with the holy site especially on the 40th anniversary of its burning at the hands of Zionists.

He said that it was aimed to draw the attention of the Turkish people to the dangers threatening the Muslims’ first Qibla (where Muslims head during prayers) before Makkah.

Visitors could view this file on visiting the writer’s website and they could screen them as a slide show on a projector at the following link: www.vahdet.com.tr/periyodik/aksa/01.html

An Australian Jew had started a big fire in the holy Aqsa Mosque on 21st August 1969 that ate up one third of the holy site.

The Israeli occupation authority shared in the crime when mayor of the Jewish-controlled municipality of Jerusalem cut off water to the Aqsa vicinity to prevent the worshippers and citizens from extinguishing it.
