GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas has condemned a smear campaign launched by the Egyptian Ahram newspaper attacking the Palestinians and their government's national stands.
”Attempts to deliberately distort the national stances of our people and their government and resistance in no way serves any Egyptian or Palestinian interests, but only serves foreign agendas to help undo Arab relations and create a state of confusion and tension in the region,” Hamas said in a statement on Tuesday.
Ahram chief administrator Abdel-Moneim Saeed had published an article on Saturday that included propaganda inciting against the Palestinians and their government in Gaza.
Hamas has called upon the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces which was handed power in Egypt to take measures to end the smear campaign and called on revolutionists to expose the ”saboteurs” and not allow them to ”tamper with the achievements of the revolution.”
The government media bureau in Gaza has rejected all false un-backed accusations against the Gaza Strip.
It described the article titled ”Foreign politics of the revolution” as illogical and unfair.
