Israelis dive into Gaza garbage in hunt for soldiers
RAMALLAH: Gaza’s garbage has become the latest target for Israeli collaborators in their searches for captured, wounded Israeli soldiers, say resistance groups who have arrested several collaborators as they search in garbage containers and other garbage sites.
A Hamas affiliated security website has reported that Palestinian informants hired by the Israeli regime have been instructed to gather possible evidence of soldiers’ whereabouts.
Israel is determined to search for the captured soldiers to return them without having to pay the price for their freedom.
The collaborators have been instructed to collect all medical left over items including cotton buds and bandages with traces of blood on them to undergo DNA tests to find whether they belonged to the wounded Israeli soldiers captured by Palestinian fighters during Israel’s war on Gaza that started on July 8 and claimed more than 2,000 Palestinian lives.
Hamas security forces were notified by members of the Palestinian public who noticed some Gazans searching the garbage during the night. This was thoroughly investigated by the resistance security forces which issued strict instructions to arrest those who dig through the garbage containers during the night so they can be interrogated.
At least 10 alleged collaborators have so far been arrested and the majority of them have confessed to their crimes and claimed to be acting under the instructions of Israeli security officers to dig in particular locations.
The resistance in Gaza said that the Israelis do not have any clue about the fate of the abducted soldiers and their resorting to search garbage indicates its “bankruptcy”. The resistance said that the Israeli security forces have tempted some collaborators with huge financial rewards should they come up with any clue of blood traces of the Israeli missing wounded soldiers.
The resistance military wings in Gaza have warned the Palestinian public about the active participation of Israeli security personnel in social media to collect information about the missing soldiers.
The resistance said that Gazans on social media have been flooded with invitations of friendship and offers of readiness to assist financially, sentimentally, and socially. The resistance is calling on the Palestinian public to be extremely careful and to never to fall in the traps set by the Israeli security and intelligence.
The resistance said that Israeli security forces have been striving for a piece of information that can lead to the whereabouts of the soldiers and, therefore, they will come up with unusual techniques to collect information.
