Twelve Israeli military tanks entered Gaza yesterday Wednesday in the early morning hours, and opened fire at the Palestinian farms. Sources say that the tanks entered Gaza from Al-Fukhari town in Khan Younis district.
The tanks proceeded 200 meters into the strip, witness said. Farmers were forced to leave their lands, where Israeli forces violated the ceasefire and opened fire on the agricultural lands of the farmers. However, no injuries were reported.
After the 51-Israeli assault on Gaza, the ceasefire agreement was issued in Cairo, on 26th August, between Israeli and Palestinian officials. However, the Occupation continuously breaks the ceasefire, and farmers and fishermen of Gaza are daily attacked by Israeli Occupation militants.
