A Jewish headteacher of an Israeli school was threatened with death after he commissioned Arab workers to carry out construction works in the school, online media reports said yesterday.
The websites described the incident as a sign of the increasing hatred and incitement against Arabs in Israel.
Israeli website Walla, which originally published the report, said that the headteacher of Mazkeret Batya School has undergone an incitement campaign carried out by the parents of its students.
According to the Israeli website, fathers of students at the school threatened to kill the headteacher over the construction works in the school, which are being carried out by Arab workers.
The headteacher found a letter on the windscreen of he car accusing her of disregarding the life of the students as she is having Arab workers carry out construction works at the school.
School staff reported that the students' families have repeatedly complained about having Arabs wandering freely in their sons' school, calling for increased security.
