Turkish former president: Turkey doomed to collapse if Erdoğan continues his treacherous policies

20th of November, 2014/Ankara, Turkey-- Turkish former president   -Abdullah Gül- who currently attempts to distance himself as far as possible from the newly-elected president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan , slammed the  administration’s multi- track foreign policy vis-à-vis  the Syrian crisis.
“ I am sure that one day (God Forbidden) the chickens of Erdoğan’s past follies in Syria will come home to roost,” Kuwait News Agency(KUNA) quoted the disgruntled Turkish politician as saying on Wednesday.
Gül who is accused of complicity with Erdoğan’s mischievous policies in the Middle-East during his presidency term -- namely reviving the infamous Ottoman Empire -- had acknowledged that since the beginning of Syrian catastrophic civil war in 2011, Turkish intelligence agencies played a key role to facilitate the transport of the Jihadists across Turkish porous borders into battle-scarred Iraq and Syria.
Mr. Gül added that Erdoğan’s strategic blunders in neighboring Syria and Iraq gave rise to obnoxious ISIS reality on the ground and resulted in a balkanized Iraq and there are undeniable intelligence reports indicating that some of those Jihadists who fought alongside terrorist organizations in Iraq are returning to the their European countries to carry out terrorist attacks and all of this is happening with the definite connivance of Turkish authorities.
Turkey, a severely polarized nation is domestically riven by the drastic different views about the sources and possible solutions to the catastrophic crisis in Iraq and many of its prominent politicians like Mr. Gül--once considered as an implacable ally of Turkey’s powerful Erdoğan—are deeply frustrated with Turkish  modern Sultan’s Middle-East agenda.
Elsewhere in his comment, Abdullah Gül lashed out against the U.S.-led campaign against the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS), calling it “idiots’ club”, adding some notorious and dangerous Saudi-backed terrorist organizations such as al-Nusra Front (al-Qaeda’s Syrian offshoot) have been collaborating with western intelligence agencies ,namely CIA.
ISIL and al-Nusra front, both adopt extreme interpretation of Sunni Islam and both embraced terrorist tactics against civilians in the past but dangerous schism occurred between the two after ISIL refused to restrict its activities in Iraq.
In the last summer, ISIL started a rampage in northern and western Iraq, carving up a formidable “Islamic State” in the Sunni heartland and recently there have been reports that al-Nusra Front delivered U.S. Air Force with a “target bank” for  aerial strikes against ISIS-held positions.
Meanwhile, Murat Karayılan, the acting leader of the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) has warned Islamist-leaning administration of President Erdoğan of continuing support for Jihadist terrorists and the remnant forces of the Iraq’s former Baath regime.
“There are vast array of mutual cooperation between Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and ISIS; and we believe unless Ankara cease from training and arming the al-Qaeda-inspired terrorists, Turkey’s southeastern Kurdish-populated provinces will witness violent uprisings against the central government,” said Mr. Karayılan in an interview with BBC’s Kurdish correspondent Jiar Gol.

PKK which dedicate itself to create a Kurdish homeland in Southern Turkey is outlawed by many western countries and have engaged in a bloodletting civil war since late 1980s which claimed the lives of more than 40,000 civilians and military alike.
