Putin in Ankara: Assad Has Mass, Popular Support by the Syrians
Local EditorRussian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has a mass, great support by the Syrians, adding “we will disallow domination of the terrorist organizations in Syria or Iraq because we don’t accept chaos on those lands.”
“We have similar stances with Turkey that the situation in Syria is unnatural… there is a difference in a number of issues, but our stance is common regarding the solution of the crises and how to deal with terrorism,” President Putin said at a press conference with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“we have discussed the situation with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem and many others to say it is possible to find solutions that are accepted by all political sides in the country.
