Vyacheslav Matuzov, a seasoned Russian diplomat who served mainly in the Middle-Eastern countries during the 1980s, in an exclusive interview with awdnews.com, vehemently criticized Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his devastating policies in Syria and urged him to abandon his friendly approach to Jihadi militant groups fighting to topple the Syrian president.
“It isn’t hyperbole to state that nowadays Turkey behave as a CIA proxy in Syria's three-year-old civil war and Turkish cities invariably become terrorist colonies and Erdoğan’s erroneous policies will ultimately work to the detriment of Turkish nation,” added the astute Russian diplomat.
Mr. Matuzov also revealed detailed information regarding a Kuwaiti-registered cargo ship docked at the Turkish İskenderun port –suspected of carrying heavy military equipment, including short-range rocket launchers, military vehicles and significant number of small arms and ammunitions-- supposed to be delivered to Islamist rebels in the battle-scarred Syria.
According to the terrifying information leaked by the Russian diplomat, the military hardware were carried to Gaziantep -- a southeastern Turkish city near the border with Syria --by the Turkish army trailers and afterwards were delivered to Islamist terrorists whom were ostensibly labeled by the U.S. administration as “moderate” and “democratic” opposition forces.
