While Washington Continues to Aid Terrorists, Kerry Hopes to “Negotiate” with President Assad

SYRIA 360°

Did Kerry say what the Syrian President said four years ago?!

They want to pressure the Syrian command into negotiations, they forgot that the Syrian command said clearly since the beginning of the crisis that the door for negotiations are always open, and we do not negotiate with small insignificant players such as the opposition, we negotiate with their masters.

The US administration doesn’t want negotiations, it wants to force a solution on Syria.

Syria sacrificed thousands of its heroes to preserve its sovereignty and as Mr. Waleed al-Mou`alem said to Kerry once, no body Mr. Kerry have the right to take away legitimacy or to give it back, but they Syrians themselves.

Any negotiations that will lead to the end of this war, but will preserve the Syrian sovereignty is always welcomed.

Kerry acknowledges that the U.S. will have to negotiate with President al-Assad to end war in Syria

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry acknowledged that the United States will have to negotiate with President Bashar al-Assad to end the war in Syria.

In an interview given to CBS on Sunday, Kerry said that the U.S. will have to negotiate in the end, claiming that Washington had always been willing to negotiate on the basis of the Geneva I process in attempt to deny the fact that his administration is responsible for hindering reaching a political solution in Syria.

In the interview, Kerry did not repeat the standard U.S. line that President al-Assad “had lost all legitimacy and has to go,” claiming that it was President al-Assad who didn’t want to negotiate and saying that this may require increased pressure.

Kerry said the United States and other countries, which he did not name, were exploring ways to reignite the diplomatic process to end the crisis in Syria, despite the fact that the U.S. had been working towards the militarization of the crisis in Syria for four years and supported terrorists that Washington likes to label as “moderate opposition.”

In a new step that emphasizes the US insistence on supporting the terrorists of what it calls “the moderate opposition” in Syria, the US State Department said it will provide new shipment of what it described as “non-lethal” aid with a cost of USD 70 million.

In a statement quoted by Reuters, the Department said that “the non-lethal aid will go toward basic community services, supporting vetted units of the armed opposition, digital security training, and documentation of war crimes.”

The statement clarified that the aid brings total U.S. support to nearly USD 400 million.
