A terrorist attack struck Saudi Arabia’s Eastern city of Dammam after a suicide bomber tried to enter Imam Hussein (AS) Mosque, witnesses said, the second attack of its kind in a week.
A man from Civil Protection forces was killed when he tried to prevent the suicide bomber from reaching the building. Saudi interior ministry announced that four people were killed in the attack.
A witness said he was with his family near the al-Anoud Mosque when "a quick explosion" happened.
A suicide bombing on May 22 in Imam Ali (AS) mosque in al-Qdeih village led to the martyrdom of 21 worshipers, including two children. Qdeih is located in Qatif governorate in Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
