A Hezbollah military unit targeted on Saturday the movements of the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) takfiri group in Ras-Baalbek barrens in the eastern region of Lebanon.
Hezbollah fighters used heavy artilleries and guided missiles in operation against ISIL group.
They also managed to destroy two ISIL military vehicles, hitting the crew directly, and leaving them wounded or killed.
Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the Syrian government accuses the US, the Zionist entity, some European states and other regional countries, mainly the Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar of orchestrating the violence and supporting the armed groups with money, weapons and smuggled mercenaries.
The Syrian army launched in May 2013 a wide-scale military operations against the terrorist groups operating across the country, who started to infiltrate illegally into Lebanon.
Hezbollah and the Syrian army have been directly engaged in conflict against takfiri terrorists in the eastern region, who are sparing no effort to destabilize Lebanon's security.
