The Syrian army is going on with its wide-scale operation in Aleppo countryside, with more towns getting into the hands of the military.

The Syrian army backed by the popular defense forces established control over Tal Mamo hill and the two villages of Birawi and Azizit Samaan in the southern countryside of Aleppo province, al-Manar correspondent reported.

Meanwhile, SANA news agency quoted military sources as saying that the Syrian military targeted terrorists’ concentrations and movements in the village of Khalsa and south of Qarasi village in the province’s southern countryside, in addition to destroying machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of a number of their members, among them Nusra Front military leader Faisal Sharif, nicknamed as Abu Omair al-Ansari.

The army units destroyed ISIL Takfiri terrorists’ hideouts and fortified sites in the villages and towns of Rasm al-Abboud, al- Jaberiyeh, Hmaimiyeh and Abu Danneh in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province in  addition to demolishing a number of their members with all weapons and ammunition inside  hideouts, SANA added.
