11/9/15 — CNN publishes a second report quoting unnamed US officials on the Russian plane crash. Again the conclusion that ISIS was behind the attack is based on “chatter,” with additional information that “at least some” of the chatter was picked up by Israeli intelligence.
11/10/15 — In comments before the American Enterprise Institute, Benjamin Netanyahu expresses the desire to see a Middle East with three more Israels.
11/11/15 — In a Martyrs Day speech, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan voices pride that Hezbollah was to be among the topics discussed by Obama and Netanyahu at a meeting at the White House. According to a Reuters report, it was indeed discussed.
11/11/15 (later in the day) — Israel carries out air strikes in Syria, reportedly targeting Hezbollah outposts near Damascus airport.
11/11/15 (nighttime) — Hezbollah neighborhood in southern Beirut hit by twin terrorist bombing for which ISIS claims credit. More than 40 people are killed.
11/12/15 — Everett Stern, a Jewish candidate for US Senate in Pennsylvania, posted aseries of tweets expressing satisfaction and jubilation over the Beirut bombings.
11/13/15 — Terror attacks in Paris
11/14/15 — In lengthy comments on the Paris attacks, Netanyahu asserted that terrorism “is increasingly being transformed from Palestinian nationalistic terrorism to Islamic terrorism.”
Christopher Bollyn has published an article examining the possibility that the Russian air bus was brought down by means of a cyber attack. He notes that the plane went down very close to the Israeli border and that an Israeli high-tech spy facility, equipped with satellite dishes, is located in the Negev desert less than 60 miles from the crash site. The plane’s control systems could have been hacked, Bollyn says. Very informative article. Well worth reading.

Netanyahu is now ordering Israeli security agencies to “assist” France, perhaps to ensure that French police don’t reach any “wrong conclusions” about who was responsible for the bombing.
