Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered on Sunday a speech, in which he tackled a number of issues, particularly the recent Gulf step of labeling Hizbullah as "terrorist".
Addressing thousands of crowds, commemorating a week on the martyrdom of the Resistance Leader Martyr Ali Fayyad [Alla of Bosnia], His Eminence condoled the Leader's family and all the martyrs' admirers.
Hailing the traits of the great martyr, Sayyed Nasrallah explained that Haj Alaa was one of the main Leaders of the July 2006 victory. "He was a commander in all fields."
"Haj Alaa represents a generation of young Lebanese, who believed in the choice of resistance," he said, unveiling that "the martyr accompanied the late martyr leader Hajj Imad Mughniyeh in constructing the Resistance power and deterrence."
His Eminence also mentioned that the Leader Fayyad was part of detaining "Israeli" soldiers in exchange of Lebanese detainees in "Israeli" jails. "Martyr Alaa contributed to 2000 and 2006 victories."
"Haj Alaa joined the Resistance when he was young before he turned to be a main sacrificing commander that established Hizbullah Special Force, which grew to become a great force that the "Israeli" fear," Sayyed Nasrallah added.
In parallel, His Eminence noted that "Haj Alaa and his brothers did not wait for neither a unified Arab strategy nor Arab countries, the Arab League, the Arab armies, or an Arab consensus."
"Martyr Ali Fayyad reflects the desire of the Arab youths to liberate their territories from the Zionist occupation despite the lack of the regional support," he clarified.
Moreover, the Resistance Leader highlighted that "Haj Alaa believed that what protects Lebanon is its own power. Alaa and others did not wait for Arab consensus or Arab armies. Had we, as Lebanese, waited for an Arab strategy and a unified Arab League decision, the "Israeli" army would have been still present in the South, Rashaya, western Bekaa, the coastal road, Mount Lebanon and Beirut."
He further reiterated the party's appreciate the Iranian and Syrian position in supporting the Lebanese Resistance.
"What relation does the countries that are today blacklisting the Resistance as terrorists have with the Resistance and its victories? Those who are labeling us terrorist have nothing to do with the weapons we received, the victories and our resistance. Is there any Arab regime that dared to support the Lebanese and Palestinian Resistance other than the Syrian regime?" Sayyed Nasrallah wondered.
He moved on to say: "As we asked the Arab countries during 2006 war to get away from troubling the Resistance, we repeat the same demand today. We do not want anything from you. We do not want money, arms or support, just leave this Resistance, country and people alone."
In this context, Hizbullah Secretary General described the Resistance fighters in Syria as "the real defenders of Lebanese interests."
"What protects this country is its army, people and resistance and those who expect that the Arab League or Arab consensus can prevent "Israel" from attacking Lebanon are delusional," he emphasized.
In addition he asserted that "Martyr Fayyad believed that only our own strength, will and presence can protect Lebanon and the national dignity, which later developed into the 'Army-People-Resistance' equation."
To the Arab regimes, Sayyed Nasrallah raised the following questions: "Israel" humiliates the Arab peoples and sanctities on daily basis; how have you reacted since 1967? What have you done to Palestine and al-Aqsa all over the past 67 years? What are you doing now? Who has insulted the Arabs, the Arab nation, the Arab armies and the Arab peoples? Isn't the "Israeli" occupation of al-Aqsa an insult to the Arabs? Who has restored the lost dignity other than this Resistance in Lebanon?"
Denouncing Al Saud's attacks on the Resistance and people, His Eminence affirmed that "many Arab regimes, mainly the Saudis, have always conspired against all who confronted "Israel".""The Arab regimes, including mainly the Saudis, have always protected "Israel" in order to protect their thrones by stirring the false Sunnite-Shiite seditions."
Back to the martyr, also known as Alaa of Bosnia, Sayyed Nasrallah elaborated that he was sent to Bosnia in the nineties of last century because Muslims there were facing massive massacres at the hands of the Serbian forces and because cities and villages were being destroyed and women were being raped.
"Hajj Alaa went to defend the Sunni Muslims in Bosnia," he stated, noting that "martyr Ramzi Mahdi was sacrificed there for the sake of Holy God."
For those accusing Hizbullah of sectarianism, he asked: "Are the Muslims in Bosnia Sunnites or Shiites? Do you consider Hizbullah's sacrifices in Bosnia to defend the Muslims as a terrorist act?"
Moving to the Iraqi front, Sayyed Nasrallah uncovered that "Martyr Haj Alaa was one of the first Hizbullah fighter, who secretly went there to join the fight against Daesh [Arabic acronym for the terrorist group "ISIS"]."
"After the Daesh terrorist group invaded Mosul, Anbar, parts of Salaheddine and Kirkuk and reached areas near Baghdad, and entire Iraq became in danger, the Iraqi leadership asked us to send a number of commanders and military trainers to help the local forces defend their country."
On this level, the Resistance Leader explained: "We had covertly sent fighters to combat Daesh in Iraq. We fought under the local command and not interfered in the country's internal affairs as Saudi Arabia had in some Arab states. The Popular Mobilization forces have defended Iraq and all the regional countries in the region."
"It would be delusional to think that we would wait for the Arab League in order to intervene in Iraq. We were fighting in Iraq under an Iraqi leadership and had we been fighting under an American leadership, they would not have labeled us as terrorist."
He further reminded that Hizbullah did not wait for any orders to initiate its anti-terror fight in Syria and only fulfilled its religious commitment.
In this context, Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the Gulf States by saying: "Had it not been for the Popular Mobilization forces in Iraq, Daesh would have been now in your palaces and it would have been killing you and enslaving your women."
"Arab dignity is when every Arab goes to Iraq to defend the dignity and holy sites of the Iraqis, not to label those defending Iraq as terrorists."
Moving to the Syrian front, His Eminence revealed that Hajj Alaa was one of the first Resistance commanders who joined the fight in Syria. "He was injured several times, but he rejected to stop fighting in Syria till martyrdom?"
As he expressed Hizbullah's readiness to any discussion on its role in Syria, Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated that "when we went to Syria, Damascus, the Sayyeda Zainab shrine and Qusayr were in danger. We had a religious approval from the Supreme Leader Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei to fight in Syria, but we weren't ordered or obliged to do that."
On another level, the Resistance leader linked the latest Saudi measures against Lebanon and Hizbullah to al-Saud's failure in the region, particularly in Syria, Yemen, and Bahrain.
"If it's angry with us, it has the right to. I understand Saudi Arabia's anger. Why? Because when one fails, at the very least he will be angry," Nasrallah said.
He went on to explain that the Saudi rage has emanated from the kingdom's failures in Yemen and Syria.
"In Syria, there's a very great Saudi anger because what they had calculated in Syria [was that] in two or three months, 'Syria would fall into our hands,'" Sayyed Nasrallah said.
He also mentioned: "He, who confronts Saudi Arabia in Syria is the real defender of the Lebanese national interests."
"The same goes for Yemen. The estimations of the new Saudi leadership was that ‘we will decide the battle in Yemen. We will teach a lesson to all the Arab countries and the Arab world... and we will impose ourselves on the Arab world," His Eminence said.
He reminded of what happened in one of the care houses few days ago in Yemen's Aden where the terrorists stormed the building and killed a number nuns, Muslim elders and Indian nurses,
considering that they are disbelievers. "Isn't this Saudi bombing similar to Daesh's terrorism?"
"Their anger targeted entire Lebanon because they wanted to enrage the Lebanese people against us."
This comes, according to Sayyed Nasrallah, as all sides know that "we have not taken a single rifle from the Lebanese Army."
As His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah thanked the Lebanese, Iraqi and Algerian Interior Ministers for rejecting to label Hizbullah as a terrorist group.
"The popular reaction in a number of Arab countries to the GCC's decision against Hizbullah reflects the sublime position of the Resistance in the view of the Arab people who have kept the Palestinian cause as a priority."
Sayyed Nasrallah also thanked the president, parliament, parties and people of Tunisia for defending Hizbullah against the Gulf decision to blacklist the Resistance.
Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that the Resistance feels proud for being viewed as the party who can frustrate the Saudi schemes.
"The official and popular Arab responses to Hizbullah's terror labeling were an important message to the Zionist entity," he viewed.
In this context, His Eminence confirmed: ""Israel's" presence will never become normal and it can't be an ally to Arabs while it is terror itself. No Arab regime will be able to normalize ties with "Israel", neither Al Saud nor anyone.
"The message also stresses that the "Israeli" existence in the region can never be naturalized despite all the attempts on the Zionist officials and some Arab leaders."
On this level, Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted that the Bahraini king jails the Muslims clerics, but receives a Zionist Rabbi to highlight its relations with "Israel"."
On the contrary, Sayyed Nasrallah cited the instance of the Egyptian parliament when one MP beat his colleague with his shoes for receiving the "Israeli" ambassador in his house, what stresses the real attitude of the Egyptians towards "Israel".
To the Zionists, His Eminence said: "if any Arab regime supports you, it will fall with you."
"Saudi will soon discover that it has lost its battle in the entire region," according to Sayyed Nasrallah, affirming that "the Lebanese know very well that the Saudi scheme in Syria was to topple the regime without caring who might rise to power, be it Daesh, al-Nusra or groups of similar ideology."
"The Arab popular reaction challenged the political and takfiri media and finance in the region."
