Hezbollah strongly denounced the Zionist desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque during Israelis’ celebrations on the 49th anniversary of al-Quds’ occupation.
In a statement released by the party’s Media Relations, Hezbollah said the move was a deliberate policy by the Zionists aimed at paving the way to totally destruct the holy mosque.
“On Naksa (setback) Day (1976), and while the Arab regimes turn away their face from Palestine and its sacred sites, a group of settlers, backed by occupation police and army, savagely invaded the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, in order to provocatively celebrate the occupation of al-Quds’ anniversary,” the statement released late on Monday said.
The resistance party stressed that such provocative move afflicts both Islamic and Christian sites in al-Quds and entire Palestine.
“Hezbollah denounces such spiteful moves against the holy mosque and against both Islamic and Christian sacred sites in al-Quds and entire Palestine,” the statement added.
Hezbollah warned that such great disintegration by Zionist settlers towards al-Aqsa Mosque is a deliberate Israeli policy aimed at “destroying the symbolic value of the holy site and paving the way for total destruction of it.”
The statement also condemned the Arabs’ silence on such Israeli provocations is continuation of the normalization policy adopted by these regimes which are seeking alliance with the Zionist entity, according to recent press reports.
In this context, Hezbollah called for a clear stance from these repeated Israeli violations in light of the failure by Arab regimes and international community to stop such attacks.
