(SANA) ~ Foreign and Expatriates Ministry sent on Tuesday two identical letters to UN secretary General and President of Security Council saying that the French warplanes, working within the so-called “international coalition” led by the US, perpetrated an unjust massacre on the territories of Syria near the Syrian-Turkish borders, targeting Toukhan al-Kubra village to the north of Manbij, killing families in complete anddemolishing houses there.

“The French unjust aggression claimed the lives of more than 120 civilians, most of them are children, women and elderly, in addition to tens of wounded citizens, the majority of them are also children and women as reports say that the fate of scores of other civilians who still under debris are unknown too,” the Ministry said in the letters.
The letters went on to say that the French aggression comes after one day of a US aggression carried out by US warplanes on Monday which perpetrated a similar bloody massacre by bombarding Syrian city of Manbij, claiming the lives of more than 20 civilians and injuring tens others.
“The government of Syrian Arab republic condemns, with the strongest terms, the two bloody massacres perpetrated by the French and US warplanes and those affiliated to the so-called international coalition which send their missiles and bombs to the civilians instead of directing them to the terrorist gangs… Syria also affirms that those who want to combat terrorism seriously should coordinate with the Syrian government and army,” the Ministry said.
It went on to say that the US, French, Turkish, Saudi Arabian, British and Qatari continued support to the terrorist organizations that they name “moderate groups, like Jabhat al-Nusra, Jaish al-Fatah, Jaish al-Islam, Liwa al-Tawhid and other terrorist organizations affiliated to the ISIS and al-Qaeda is a clear evidence that these states are colluding and cooperating with the terrorist groups, and an indication to their non-seriousness in combating terrorism.
“The Syrian government affirms that those massacres, crimes and destruction will not deter Syria from continuing its duties in combating terrorism and working to realize a political solution to the crisis in Syria through a Syrian-Syrian dialogue, led by Syria and without any foreign intervention,” the Ministry said.
The Foreign Ministry added that the government of Syrian Arab Republic calls for condemning this massacre perpetrated by France and demands UN Security Council to assume its responsibility in preserving international peace and security through taking punitive measures against states and regimes that support and fund terrorism, particularly those regimes in Riyadh, Doha, Ankara and Paris and prevent them from supporting terrorism and obliging them to abide by and implement UN relevant resolutions No. 2170, 2178, 2199 and 2253.

DAMASCUS, (ST)-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Tuesday sent two identical letters to the UN Chief and President of the Security Council dealing with the massacre committed by the French warplanes working within the so-called US-led anti-terror Coalition against civilians in al-Toukhan al-Kubra village of Aleppo countryside and which claimed the lives of 120 civilians and wounded dozens others.
According to the letters, whole families were killed and have their houses completely destroyed.  Most of the victims were children, women and elderly, the letters said, pointing out that many people are still trapped under the rubble of their houses amid operations to rescue any survivors.
The ministry went on to say in its letters that the French aggression comes only a day after American warplanes committed a similar massacre against innocent people in Manbej city in Aleppo. More than 20 civilians were martyred and many others were wounded in the airstrikes.
“The government of the Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the two massacres committed by the French and American warplanes of the US-led coalition which keeps targeting the Syrian civilians and infrastructure instead of the terrorist organizations,” according to the ministry.
It stressed that those who want to fight terrorism should coordinate with the Syrian government and army which is fighting terrorists all over Syria, pointing out that  describing the terrorist organizations as moderate opposition has become unacceptable and shameful.
The ministry asserted that the continuous support provided  by France, the United States, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Britain to terrorist organizations, called by these countries as “moderate groups”, is a clear evidence proving these countries’ collusion with terrorist groups and affirming their lack of seriousness about fighting terrorism.
It added that the Syrian government called on the U.N. and the Security Council to condemn the French massacre and urged the Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities towards keeping international peace and security through adopting punitive measures against the countries and regimes that support and fund terrorism.
