1000 Terrorists Killed in Aleppo Battle: Syrian Opposing Observatory

The Syrian opposing observatory acknowledged that 1000 terrorists were killed by the Syrian army and allies in the latest battle in Aleppo southern countryside, confirming that the militant groups failed to break the siege imposed on them in the east of the city.
The observatory also stressed that the Syrian army and allies managed to regain all the positions that the terrorists had entered at the beginning of the battle.

The Syrian army has stepped up operations against terrorist organizations in many provinces, launching intensive air strikes on their positions and bombarding their sites with artillery and other heavy weapons, leaving many terrorists dead and their equipment destroyed.
Latakia
Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over Ayn al-Qantara village, Talit Rasah, Talit al-Awizrat, Dahrit Abu Asad, Nahshaba village and Roisit al-Katf in the northern countryside of Latakia after killing many terrorists and destroying their weapons.
Hama
The army’s air force destroyed two ammunition depots and anti-tank rockets in Souran and Murek in the northern countryside of Hama province, a military source said on Friday.
Homs
The army’s air force hit positions for ISIL terrorists to the south of Palmyra, in al-Sukhneh and to the east of Qasr al-Hallabat in Homs countryside, in addition to destroying scores of ISIL tanker trucks between al-Khashabiyeh and al-Fasida areas.
On Thursday evening, an army unit positions of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham in al-Zaafaraniyeh and al-Saan in the northern countryside of Homs province.
According to SANA reporter, the operations resulted in the death of a number of terrorists, including leaders such as Abu Mohammad al-Homsi from al-Nusra.
The terrorists Abu Aaisha al-Masri, Abu Farouq al-Homsi, Rami Ismael, Mohammad Ammar Khattab, Abdul-Rahman Isper, Abdul-Karim Nabo, Murad al-Rashed, Ali Rateb Ezz-Eddin, Alaa Jokhadar and Ammar Shablout were identified among the dead.
Idleb
Army units destroyed two positions for Jaish al-Fatah terrorists and killed a number of them, including leaders of foreign nationalities, in Khan Sheikhoun and Taaoum in Idleb southern countryside near the border with Hama.
Damascus Countryside
Army units expanded their control in al-Rihan farms and in the direction of the factories in Eastern Gouta in Damascus countryside.
A military source said that army units expanded their control in Eastern Gouta after eliminating a number of terrorists’ positions in al-Rihan farms and in the direction of the factories in Damascus countryside.
The source added that army units clashed with terrorist groups while they were attempting to attack a number of military points in Eastern Gouta, inflicting heavy losses on terrorists.
Earlier, army unit targeted a hideout for al-Nusra terrorists in Khan al-Shih, 25 km west of Damascus, destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns and killing a number for terrorists.
Deir Ezzor
The Air Force carried out Thursday night and Friday morning intensive sorties targeting movements of ISIL terrorists in al-Jafreh, Hatla, al-Thurda Mountain, al-Bugheiliyeh, to the northwest of Barouk Hill and to the east of the military airport in Deir Ezzor province, leaving many of the terrorists dead and destroying vehicles, some of which armored and other equipped with machine guns.
Meanwhile, the Artillery of the Syrian army targeted ISIL positions in the neighborhoods of al-Huweiqa, al-Rushdiyeh, al-Hamidiyeh, al-Orfi and al-Sinaaa in Deir Ezzor city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying several mortars they used to shell residential neighborhoods.
Daraa
An army unit targeted two terrorist groups that were carrying out fortification works in al-Bajabjeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city. The terrorist groups’ members were either killed or injured in the operation.
Another army unit targeted terrorists moving between Busra al-Sham and Wadi al-Zaidi, leaving all of them dead or wounded.
Aleppo
The Syrian army also opened Ramousa-Aleppo highway as the civilians expressed their gaiety and readiness to rebuild what was destroyed by the terrorist groups.
