The Islamic Resistance troops managed on Thursday to a group of ISIL terrorists who were trying to move from the barrens of Ras Baalbek to those of al-Qaa on Lebanon's northeastern border with Syria, killing or injuring a number of militants.Hezbollah fighters also killed a group of Nusra Front (Qaeda branch in the Levant) terrorists after targeting them in Wadi al-Khayl in Arsal barrens.
Well-informed sources told Al-Manar that the Nusra commander who was killed on Wednesday by Hezbollah troops in Arsal barrens is called Fadel Zaidan, adding that 13 terrorists were killed in the same operation.
The Lebanese army also launched an artillery attack against the terrorist groups in Arsal and Ras Baalbek barrens.
