(FNA)- The Syrian army advanced against terrorists in the province of Dara’a, sources said Thursday, adding the troops are on the verge of capturing a Syrian-Jordanian border crossing.
The Syrian army made huge advances in the city of Dara’a, field sources said.
The sources added that the soldiers are in a striking distance of the old Dara’a border crossing with Jordan which is commonly referred to as the Al-Jamrak crossing.

On Wednesday, sporadic clashes erupted between the army and terrorists on the outskirts of al-Sheikh Meskeen city and Atman town in Dara’a province.
