OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Security and political advisor of the Israeli war ministry Amos Gilad has asserted Wednesday that Egypt made it clear that it regards Hamas as a national enemy and threat to stability of the regime in Egypt.
The Hebrew Haaretz newspaper quoted Gilad as saying that the talks he had held in Cairo with Egyptian officials, especially Omar Suleiman, Egypt's intelligence chief, made him convinced that Egypt was ready to extend unprecedented cooperation and help to block smuggling of weapons to the Palestinian resistance through the Sinai Peninsula.
"I felt a big change in the Egyptian stand towards Hamas and I think that Egypt's stand regarding the issue of smuggling became sterner", Gilad added as he spoke in a conference held in Tel Aviv.
He also alleged that the Egyptians demonstrated big understanding of the Israeli war on Gaza, and that the Egyptian regime wasn’t ready to give Hamas anything, and that they will not agree to Hamas's demands of opening the crossing points, especially the Rafah crossing point.
Furthermore, Gilad opined that the degree of cooperation and understanding between Israel and Egypt paved the way to fight smuggling of weapons into the Gaza Strip in a better and more effective manner, adding that his occupation government would continue such coordination with Egypt.
No comments from the Egyptian side were made yet regarding Gilad's "serious" remarks.
As far as the issue of Gilad Shalit is concerned, Gilad opined that at the end of the day, Israel would have no choice but to meet Hamas's demands for releasing Shalit after the IOF troops failed to free him by force.
He also stressed that even if Israel would seal off all Gaza crossings, such measures wouldn’t bring Shalit back home, and thus Israel should resort to other means and methods to get the IOF soldier back home.

THEY , ALREADY, SEALED ALL GAZA CROSSINGAND FAILED TO BRING SHALIT HOME. THEY TRIED ALL MEANS AND METHODS DESTROYED THE MAN. STONE AND TREE
WHAT OTHER MEANS AND METHODS HE IS TAKING ABOUT??
They know who won. They entered Gaza, but the COWARS avoided going deep into it!!! and thus failed to finish Hamas, returned without Shalit, without to stopping the rockets, instead they lost Lost support of Palestine international puplic support, increased Hamas popularity and legitimacy, and exposed Arab traitors and failed to protect Gazan collabrators . Moreover It only took a day and Gaza's tunnels are back in business, and consequently Livi cried Help to Condi and Sarkozi
Thanks to Palestinian people's steadfastness despite the immense devastation inflicted by the three weeks of IOF onslaught. As ASSAD said Gaza remained steadfast till the last day, Factions to Invest Gaza Victory Politically.
However, Traitors, and shortsighted Anal-ysists, shall continue spreading Zionist Propaganda (Such as Syria is selling Palestine, Selling Iran, Iran selling Iraq) aimed to Divide the Resistance camp.
Let them dream...
The Recsistance Factions are about to say BYE BYE Fath, BYE BYE PLO...
