Bardawil: All contacts with Egypt over prisoner deal or reconciliation frozen

[ 19/04/2010 - 04:48 PM ]
GAZA, (PIC)--

Dr. Salah Al-Bardawil, the spokesman for Hamas’s parliamentary bloc, stated Monday that all contacts with Cairo over the inter-Palestinian reconciliation or the prisoner swap deal are frozen and there are no efforts in this regard.

Dr. Bardawil said that except sending in or out some patients or corpses of victims all communications with the Egyptian side have been halted.

The Hamas official affirmed that the plight of the Israeli blockade and the harsh living conditions escalate everyday in Gaza in order to push his Movement into changing its political stands and recognize the Israeli occupation.

He stressed that Hamas can never waive the national rights and constants or succumb to pressures made by regional countries, the European Union and American administration no matter how difficult the siege was.

In a related matter, the death toll of patients rose to 502 victims after an elderly man, who was denied access to Egyptian hospitals, was pronounced dead on Saturday.

The nephew of the patient said that his uncle Yousuf Hajjaj, 63, from Khan Younis developed three years ago a benign tumor in his top jaw and was advised to travel to an Egyptian hospital for treatment, but because of the restrictions imposed on the travel of patients in particular, his uncle died after many attempts to enter Egypt officially went in vain.

Netanyahu: We Won't Stop Working to Bring Home Gilad Shalit

19/04/2010 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu renewed on Monday his pledge to continue efforts to bring home Israeli occupation soldier Gilad Shalit, detained by the Palestinian Resistance.

"We won't stop taking action to bring Gilad Shalit home," said Netanyahu, who also took the opportunity to call on Shalit's captors to release him.

Shalit was captured by Gaza resistance heroes in a 2006 cross-border raid.

Netanyahu, meanwhile, claimed that Israel will extend its hands to "anyone who wishes to live with us in peace."
"But those who wish us ill, and those who kill our children, we will pursue everywhere and exact revenge for their hatred and their crimes," he went on to say.

The Israeli prime minister addressed what he called Israel's efforts to achieve peace with its neighbors, saying that "our one hand is extended in offering peace to our willing neighbors, while the other wields a sword to protect ourselves against from those who seek to destroy us."

Is Hamas About to be Fooled, Again, by the Pharaoh? Tony was Almost Certain, the Answer is Yes!

Shalit Transfer to Egypt Imminent as Part of US Initiative,
Tony picked the shitty piece of Zionist propaganda
[How can the Hamas fools fall for this? Egyptian "intelligence" is inseparable from the Mossad. Might as well give him directly to the Mossad and say that, "Hamas trusts the goodwill of the Mossad!" What fools!] , and his parents will be allowed to visit him. He will be returned to Israel after an agreement is reached regarding the list of Hamas detainees to be released that was previously submitted to the cabinet.

The European source said Shalit's transfer to Egypt was the first stage of the Egyptian-brokered agreement hammered out between Fatah, Hamas and other Palestinian factions, in coordination with the U.S. and with Syria's support.

The deal would put the Gaza Strip under the leadership of a joint committee subordinate to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas......

Israel this week freed Palestinian Legislative Council Speaker and Hamas member Aziz Dweik after three years in prison

.[I am sure that this was a part of the deal]....."
