New 900 housing units in Gilo in OJ
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli planning and construction committee has endorsed the building of 900 new housing units south of Gilo settlement suburb near the Palestinian village of Walaja in occupied Jerusalem.
The housing units would be built on an area of 228 dunums and would also include building infrastructure such as roads and public utilities.
The committee had published the new scheme last Wednesday only one day after the endorsement of 942 housing units in the same area.
Both schemes envision the establishment of around 1900 housing units south of Gilo
