Relatives of political detainees stage sit-in
[ 19/06/2011 - 09:14 AM ]
Nablus, (PIC)-- A committee of relatives of political detainees in the West Bank said that a sit-in would be staged on Monday in each of Nablus and Al-Khalil to demand release of their relatives in PA jails.
It said in a press release that the rallies would be staged at noon, and called on the media to cover the event.
The committee pointed out that the rallies would be organized on the eve of Hamas and Fatah meeting in Cairo on Tuesday.
It stressed that the sit-ins would continue until release of all detainees, affirming that all rallies were peaceful and aimed at pressuring all those concerned to end the suffering of the detainees and their families.
