Pope Benedict XVI to visit Lebanon

Posted on |
Pope Benedict XVI, who was called ‘Zionist Double Agent‘ by American Catholic blogger and women rights activist Joanna Francis in her September 19, 2006 blog post – is due to visit Lebanon September 14-16, 2012 on the invitation of Lebanon’s Muslim Prime Minister Najib Mikati. Pope Benedict XVI visited Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Territories in 2009.
It would be interesting to see how the Pope and Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rai get along with each other. Patriarch al-Rai is known for his open support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Last year, he told Israel-Firster Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris: “Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is open-minded and should be given more chances to implement the reforms“. In March 2012, al-Rai reportedly said: “Syria was the closest thing to democracy in the Arab world”.
Patriarch al-Rai has supported Hizbullah’s armed resistance against the Zionist entity. “Only when the international community exerts pressure on Israel to vacate the occupied Lebanese territory ( the Shebaa Farms, Kfar Shouba hills and the Lebanese part of the disputed border village of Ghajar ) and Israel allows Palestinians in Lebanon to return to their homes, can Hezbollah be asked to hand over its arms because they will no longer be needed,” he said during his visit to France last year.
Pope Benedict XVI has not condemned foreign military support (US, France, UK, Turkey, Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) to rebels fighting to bring an anti-Iran regime change in Damascus for the last 15 months. Today, Pope pleaded to world powers to solve Syrian crisis instead of telling them to stop interfering in Syria’s internal affairs and let Syrians resolve their political problems.
During that visit the Pope Benedict XVI is scheduled to release his apostolic exhortation concluding the work of the Synod of Bishops for the Middle East, which met in Rome in October 2010. The statement issued at the end of the Synod of Bishops had declared that Bible never promised Palestine to Jews.
When Greek-Melchite Archbishop Cyrille Salim Bustros was asked to explain the claim in a news conference after the conclusion of the Synod of Bishops meeting, he replied: “We Christians cannot speak about the promised land for the Jewish people. There is no longer a chosen people. All men and women of all countries have become the chosen people. The concept of the promised land cannot be used as a base for the justification of the return of Jews to Israel and the displacement of Palestinians. The justification of Israel’s occupation of the land of Palestine cannot be based on sacred scriptures“.
Lebanese academic, author and blogger, Amal Saad-Ghorayeb’s brilliant article on USraeli agenda in Syria and the rest of the Middle East can be read here.
The Christian people in the United States are just as much enslaved to the Zionists as the Palestinians are. The only difference is that the Americans are mental slaves, i.e., brainwashed by the Jewish-owned media. They honestly do not see the big picture. I myself did not understand these things until about 4 years ago. Before that, I had no idea how evil Zionism was and how much injustice the Arabs had suffered since 1948. I beg my Muslim brothers and sisters, as well as my Catholic brothers and sisters, not to give the Zionists what they want: do not turn against each other! They want Christians and Muslims to kill each other off so that Israel emerges the clear, undisputed world power. We cannot let this happen. We must not dance to the Zionists’ tune. We must show them that we know what they are doing – and that it is not going to work this time,” says Joanna Francis.
Washington’s problem with al-Assad and Hizbullah is that they both not only support Palestinian armed struggle against Israel but also the Islamic Republic which wants to dismantle the Zionist regime in occupied Palestine. This is not an analysis but a fact which is based on the well-documented history of US demands and pressures on the regimes to go Muslim “moderate” or else!
