There is no room for weakness or reluctance. There is no fear even if the "top ones" are endangered. In fact, there is one clear accurate target: to raze "Israel" from existence, as reiterated by martyr Imad Mughnieh.
He who has closely followed up on the path of the Resistance ever since its foundation indeed perceives among fighters their full readiness to sacrifice themselves and their sons when duty calls. This is a concept that is deeply entrenched in the minds of those who have chosen struggle over obedience. The last "Israeli" attack on Quneitra did shine light on the disposition of those who chose to follow the path of Imam Hussein: sacrifice.
Many names have marked with their martyrdom the course of the Resistance; yet the "legacy of dying" for the sake of the cause sparks out among tens of stories. These are stories that were written with blood; that blood was shed for the sake of the dignity of a nation that is stalked by the enemy.
On 24/12/1986, martyr Adnan Melhem from the West Bekaa town of Maydoun, was killed during his participation in an operation against "Israelis" who attacked his village. He also partook in a number of operations in the South and West Bekaa, and during the Zionist invasion. Twenty years later, the son joined his father.
20-year-old Ali Adnan Melhem, who had joined the Resistance and partaken in July war, was killed in 2006 as a cluster bomb left by the enemy blew off in Blat town.
In 1993, Resistance man Hassan Jaghbir from Baraashit was killed during Operation Rihan he was leading, after attacking an enemy patrol and attempting to capture a Zionist soldier. Thirteen years later, his 19-year-old son, Ahmad, was killed during his participation in Ainata battles during July war.
In 1994, Hassan Ibrahim was killed in Deir Mimas-Tall Nahhas Operation in Tyre. His 22-year-old son, Ali, was killed in an "Israeli" raid on a convoy for the Islamic Resistance at the borders of Occupied Golan.
Ibrahim Rajab, the first martyr in True Promise Operation, was killed during the capturing of the two Zionist soldiers in Khellet Warde town in the outskirts of Aita Shaab. Eight years later, his son Mohammad Hussein, who had joined the Resistance, was killed while assuming his Jihad duty in early 2014.
Furthermore, Ahmad Oneissi and his son Ali were both killed in the True Promise Operation in 2006, particularly in Tyre, during field battles with the enemy. As to Hajj Imad Mughnieh, the martyr had a history with martyrdom, as his brothers Fouad and Jihad were targeted and killed by the enemy. In 2008, his very turn came. He was assassinated by the Zionists in Syria's Lafarsousseh. Seven years later, his son Jihad, who had joined the Resistance, was killed in an "Israeli" raid on Quneitra at the borders of the Syrian occupied Golan.
But the son can precede his father, just like what happened with Hassan Laqqis, whose son was killed during July war 2006 during a confrontation with the enemy. His father yearned to join his son. In 2014, "Israel" agents assassinated him in front of his house.
Sayyed Nasrallah himself is an example to give. In 1997, his son Hadi was killed in confrontations with the enemy in Jabal Rafii Operation.
The annals of the Resistance abound with sacrifices. There are no limits until the goal is achieved: liberation and victory, for the sake of which everything is easy, as the aspired goal makes up for the losses and the endeavors.
