Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionary movement voiced readiness on Tuesday to deal positively with efforts lift the Saudi blockade on the Arab impoverished state.

The Saudi-US aggression on Yemen as well as the blockade created a dire humanitarian crisis on all levels, prompting the neighbors and the fiends to call for a humanitarian truce, said a statement released by the head of the movement’s politburo, Saleh al-Sammad.

“Ansarullah has positively dealt with all these efforts and calls,” the statement stressed, noting that the Saudi Arabia however, violated the ceasefire as it went on with its airstrikes, bombardments and all means of military attacks on several areas across Yemen.

The aggression meanwhile, continued to prevent the aid ships from entering the Yemeni waters, Sammad added in the statement.

He also accused Riyadh of supporting and recruiting al-Qaeda-linked terrorists who are engaged in fierce clashes with the Yemeni army and the popular committees.

“Despite all these Saudi violations, which were met by self-restraint by the Yemeni army, we have positively dealt with the UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed’s call to extend the humanitarian truce.”

“However, the Saudi attacks were intensified in the last 24 hours, in which the number of the airstrikes reached 40,” the statement added.

“Though, we assure that we will continue with the positive dealing with any call or effort to lift the blockade,” Sammad said, as he urged the United Nations as well as the neighboring and friend countries to bear their responsibilities regarding the stubbornness of the Saudi and its allies.
