Lebanon's Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said on Monday that the people have the right to express anger but at the same time without alienating the government.
"There is no other alternative amid the presidential vacancy," Berri told his visitors.
The Speaker said that when doors of Parliament are forced to close and it is prevented from passing laws and questioning, it would be natural that the people demanding the restoration of their power.
Speaker Berri recalled his previous warnings of that one crisis would be enough to make a revolution, stressing that the government should take the necessary decisions at its next meeting.
Berri's statement came after a violent weekend erupted in the Lebanese capital following the deterioration of several local files without proper remedies by the government.
