Over 125 terrorists killed in Hama, 55 ISIS targets hit in 64 Russian sorties
10 October 2015 ~ Units of the Syrian Arab Army continued on Saturday their military operations against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, killing large number of them and destroying their weapons.
55 DAESH targets hit in 64 Russian sorties during the past 24 hours
The Russian Air Force carried out 64 sorties that hit a total of 55 targets for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Syria during the past 24 hours.
29 field camps and ammunition depots of the terrorist organizations in Hama were destroyed in the air strikes, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
An ISIS fortified facility and two command headquarters were also destroyed in Aleppo, the Ministry added.
Hama
Meanwhile, the Syrian army air force and artillery killed more than 125 terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the ISIS within a wide-scale military operation against the terrorist organizations in the northern countryside of Hama province.
A military source told SANA that the army air force conducted intensive strikes against positions of Jabhat al-Nusra and the ISIS terrorists in the villages of Atshan, al-Taman’aa and Tal Skeak in the northern countryside of the province.
The source added that 50 terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the ISIS were killed in the strikes and hundreds of them were injured, in addition to destroying a number of their armored vehicles and a store of ammunition.
Meanwhile, 75 of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were also killed and a number of their machinegun-equipped vehicles and Tao rockets launch pads were destroyed in bombardments carried out by the army artillery against their dens in Um Haratain village in the northern countryside.
Aleppo
Army units killed a number of terrorists, most of them from Jabhat al Nusra, and destroyed their machinegun-equipped vehicles in the surroundings of the Scientific Research building and al-Mansoura village in the western countryside of Aleppo province.
The source added that a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured and their equipment and ammunition were destroyed in operations carried out by the army against their dens in al-Wadihi village in the southern countryside of the province.
A unit of the army also carried out concentrated bombardments against dens and positions of the terrorist organizations in Hraitan town to the north of Aleppo City, destroying a number of the terrorists’ vehicles with all the arms and ammunition inside them.
Meanwhile, units of the army carried out intensive operations against dens and positions of the ISIS terrorist organization to the east of al-Sfera city, Tal Riman and Shamer in the eastern countryside, killing scores of the ISIS terrorists.
Dozens of the ISIS terrorists were also killed and their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed in strikes conducted by the Syrian army air force on Saturday morning against their dens in al-Baqjia, Qasir al-Ward, Tal al-Na’am and Tal Estabil in the eastern countryside.
On the other hand, the artillery of the Air Force Academy destroyed vehicles belonging to the ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of the Academy on the international road leading to Raqqa province.
A unit of the army inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorist organizations in the personnel and the equipment in the surroundings of al-Nayrab Airport, 10 km to the east of Aleppo City.
A number of the terrorists’ hotbeds were also destroyed with all the arms and ammunition inside them and all the terrorists inside them were killed in operations carried out by the army in the neighborhoods of al-Rashidin 4 and al-Laramoun and on al-Castelo Road in Aleppo City.
Meanwhile, the Takfiri terrorist organizations acknowledged on their pages on the social networking websites that a number of their members were killed, including terrorist Mohammad Tabshou, the self-claimed vice-chairman of the Sharia Office of al-Jabha al-Shamiya , and terrorist Ali Hayyani.
Lattakia
A number of the terrorists’ vehicles, mortar launchers and an artillery were destroyed in intensive air strikes carried out by the Syrian army air force on Saturday morning against their dens in the northern countryside of the coastal Lattakia province.
The airstrikes targeted dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in the towns and villages of Salma, Jib al-Ahmar, Abu Risha and Rwaiset al-Tanbour, 50 km to the east of Lattakia City.
Scores of terrorists were killed in the airstrikes and a number of their vehicles, mortar launchers, and artillery and Grad rockets were destroyed.
Meanwhile, civil sources in the northern countryside told SANA reporter that Turkish ambulances entered through the borders to transport the wounded terrorists to the Turkish hospitals.
Daraa
The army artillery bombarded Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ gathering to the north of Kafer Shams village in the northern countryside of the southern province of Daraa.
Various kinds of vehicles for the terrorist organizations were destroyed in an army operation in the village of al-Sheikh Miskin , 22 km north of Daraa city.
Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media websites the killing of a number of their members in various areas of Daraa, among them Abdullah Ahmad al-Khatib, Laith Khaled al-Haj Ali of the so-called “Liwa Jisr Horan”.
Quneitra
In the countryside of the neighboring Quneitra province, the military source said that the terrorist organizations received heavy losses in personnel and equipment in an army unit’s military operation in Nabaa al-Sakher village in the southeastern countryside of the province.
The terrorist organizations also acknowledged on their social media websites the killing of scores of terrorists, among them Ibrahim Mohammad al-Ghazali, Mohammad Abdullah al-Dnaifat, Omar Joudeh al-Ghothani, Abdel Hamid al-Naser, Ahmad Muwafaq al-Nasser, Mohammad Yaser al-Naser, Diyaa Mohammad Saleh Eqbal, Ra’fat Abdel-Aziz al-Saleh of the so-called “Jund al-Malahem”.
Hundreds terrorists killed in stepped-up crackdown, reconnaissance drone shot down
(9 October 2015) ~ Syrian Arab Army operations continued on Friday in the framework of stepped-up crackdown on the terrorist organizations in various areas, particularly in Hama where the army is advancing, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists there.
Hama
Army units establish control over town of al-Bahsa
The Syrian Arab Army established full control over town of al-Bahsa in the northwestern countryside of Hama province, a military source told SANA on Friday evening.
The source said that an army unit eliminated the last remnants of terrorists in the village, which is located at the outskirts of al-Ghab plain near the countryside of Idleb province, adding that the army is canvassing nearby areas.
5 vehicles, including one equipped with a 23mm machine gun, were destroyed, and 5 terrorists were killed and 12 others were injured during army operations in Kafr Zeita town, one of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ most important strongholds in the province.
More terrorists were killed and over 30 others were injured in the army’s operations at the outskirts of Kafr Nabbouda in the province’s northern countryside. A leader of a terrorist group was identified among the dead.
Another army unit killed 30 terrorists and destroyed 3 of their vehicles to the north of Tallet al-Sayad, also in the northern countryside.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Air Force destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and vehicles in Kafr Nabbouda, al-Mansoura, and the surroundings of al-Mighir and Maarkabba in the province’s northern countryside and in al-Habbit village on the administrative lines with Idleb province.
Sources on the ground told SANA’s correspondent that an army unit targeted a concentration of terrorists in Atshan town with concentrated fire, killing 27 terrorists and destroying one of their vehicles, while another unit targeted a vehicle used by terrorists with a guide missile west of Maarkabba town, destroying it along with the terrorists on board.
These operations are part of a wide-scale military operation that the Syrian Arab Army began two days ago with the aim of eliminating terrorist organizations in the northern countryside of Hama province.
Aleppo
50 terrorists killed
An army unit killed 50 terrorists who attempted to infiltrate towards al-Breij area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province and destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun used by the terrorists.
Another army unit destroyed three vehicles, one of which equipped with a machinegun, in the vicinity of al-Nairab airport, 10km east of Aleppo city.
Meanwhile, field sources said the army’s operations in the vicinity of al-Nairab airport resulted in destroying two armored vehicles.
A number of terrorists were also killed in al-Zahraa neighborhood on the western sides of Aleppo city, including the two terrorists known as Abu Diab Juma’a and Abu Bakr al-Hreitani.
In the province’s eastern countryside, army operations targeted concentrations and fortifications of ISIS terrorists in al-Sab’een hill, al-Na’ameh hill, and in the villages of Jdaideh, al-Buqjiye, Huwaijineh, Qasir al-Ward, and al-Sheikh Ahmad, which resulted in destroying a number of vehicles, some of which were equipped with machineguns.
Deir Ezzor
The Syrian Army’s air force launched strikes against dens and gatherings of ISIS in Deir Ezzor.
The airstrikes resulted in the destruction of many vehicles, killing many terrorists and injuring many others in al-Jafra and al-Mrei’iyeh in the southeast countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The Army’s airstrikes also targeted ISIS’ dens in al-Mayadeen city, destroying a den with all terrorists and weapons inside it.
Field sources told SANA that army units in Deir Ezzor Military Airport launched strikes against ISIS’ gatherings in the area surrounding the airport, killing or injuring many terrorists.
Daraa
KSA provides anti-air missiles to terrorists
Syrian Arab Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in a number of areas in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in Daraa city, killing and injuring scores of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and destroying their weapons and equipment, a military source told SANA.
The source said that another unit left all members of a terrorist group dead or injured west of Atman town 5km north of Daraa city, while army operations against terrorist hideouts west of Kherbat Ghazala bridge in the northeastern countryside left many terrorists dead, injured others, and destroyed their weapons and munitions.
Later, an army unit killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Busra al-Cham city 40km east of Daraa city, leaving a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists dead, injuring others, and destroying their weapons and ammo.
In the western countryside of the province, local sources told SANA that a car exploded in Heit town in the western countryside of the province after midnight between Thursday night and Friday morning, resulting in the death of three terrorists, including Ghassan al-Saffouri, Hussien al-Nemri, and Arour Heit.
Meanwhile, several local sources reported identical information which said that Saudi Arabia has sent anti-armor and anti-air missiles through the Jordanian borders to a number of terrorist groups in Daraa, namely the terrorist groups of Jaish al-Yarmouk, al-Mothanna Movement, and Ahrar al-Cham.
Lattakia
Reconnaissance plane for terrorists shot down
An army unit shot down a reconnaissance drone for terrorists in Beit Hleibiyeh in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
The army’s air force killed a large number of terrorists in strikes on their hideouts and gatherings in Rabiaa area.
The strikes left a number of terrorists dead, including Mohammad Manla, Mohammad Qabaji and Mohammad Jamal Qabji.
An army unit clashed with a terrorist group in al-Mreij district in Salma area, killing all of its members.
Homs
The Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes targeting concentrations and movements of ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of al-Shaer field in the northwestern countryside of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Homs province, a military source told SANA.
The source said that the airstrikes also targeted terrorists’ hideouts in al-Qaryatain city 85km southeast of Homs city, adding that the airstrikes resulted in destroying hideouts along with the terrorists, weapons, munitions, and equipment inside them.
An army unit destroyed three pickup trucks equipped with machineguns along with the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on board in Izz Eddin village on the administrative line between Homs and Hama provinces.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their arms to the west of al-Msheirfeh village, 18 km north of Homs city.
In Talbiseh area north of Homs city, army units eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and equipment in a series of concentrated operations that targeted their hideouts and hotbeds in the villages of al-Sa’an al-Aswad, al-Sa’an al-Shamali, and al-Za’faraneh.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons west of al-Mashrafa village 18km northeast of Homs city.
Damascus Countryside
A unit of the Syrian Arab Army carried out a precision operation targeting hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the farms of Zibdin village in the south of the Eastern Ghouta area in Damascus Countryside.
Sources on the ground told SANA’s correspondent that the operation resulted in destroying an ammo depot for the terrorist organization and the elimination of several of its members including Mansour al-Barghouth, Mousa al-Hilo, Bashir al-Haffar, and Hayel al-Hussein.
A number of terrorists from Jaish al-Islam were killed in a series of strikes by the army targeting their positions in Harf al-Deeb hill, al-Samadi, and the quarries area in the farms west of Douma area. Sobhi Anees, Majed Qashou’a, Hassan Rashed, Kassem al-Da’as, and Omar Younes were identified among the dead.
In Douma city, an army unit targeted terrorists’ hotbeds in a series of precision strikes, resulting in the death of a number of terrorists including Fares al-Doghim from Qatar, Tarek Zeido, Mouein al-Shami, Jamal Rajeh, Abd al-Sawwas, Nazir al-Daww, Radwan al-Shawwaf, Saleem al-Boosh, Lotfi al-Faour, and Fares Okla.
Another army unit destroyed two cars along with the terrorists on board in operations targeting terrorists’ concentrations and movements in Tal Kurdi farms northeast of Douma. Mazen Ghazal, Abdelrazzaq al-Dali, Karim al-Farawati, and Adnan Dallo were identified among the dead.
