Provinces – Army and Armed Forces units, backed by the army air force, on Monday continued to launch wide-scale military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel and equipment, SANA reported.
Daraa
Army and Armed Forces units thwarted an attack by terrorist groups that were moving towards the abandoned battalion in Daraa’s northern countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and equipment.
A field commander said that the terrorists, who were accompanied by 4 vehicles rigged with explosives, walked into the army’s ambush following careful monitoring of their movements.
The commander said the ambush resulted in shooting down around 16 RC surveillance drones, destroying the 4 vehicles rigged with explosives, and killing more than 90 terrorists, while dozens of terrorists were injured, and most of them were transported to the occupied territories to receive treatment in Israeli hospitals.
The commander said that among the terrorist groups who took part in the attempted attack were al-Muhajirin and al-Ansaar, Jabhat al-Nusra, Faloujet Houran, Jaish al-Yarmouk, Bait al-Maqdes, Liwa’a al-Karama, Mujahidi Houran, al-Liwa’a al-Rade’a, Ahrar Nawa, al-Mu’taz Bellah, and Jund al-Malahem, along with other groups supported by the Israeli enemy which had established a liaising unit to support terrorist organizations in Syria.
Earlier today, a military source said that army units carried out concentrated bombardments against two terrorist groups in al-Yadouda town and in Daraa al-Balad area.
The source added that a number of the terrorist groups’ members were killed in the bombardments and others were injured as an amount of their arms, ammunition and equipment was destroyed.
Hama
Army units eliminated a terrorist group in Wadi al-A’zib area in Salamyieh Countryside.
Army units on Monday morning carried out concentrated strikes against a terrorist group affiliated to the ISIS that had been targeting the cars and the passersby on the road of al-Sabboura-Ethrayia with shells and heavy machineguns in an attempt to cut the road that leads to Aleppo, SANA added.
The reporter added that a 37-mm cannon was destroyed in the strikes and all members of the terrorist group were killed.
Damascus Countryside
Army units targeted with concentrated strikes hideouts and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and their supply lines near Mugher al-Mir intersection, Beit Jinn farm, Khan al-Sheeh farms, and northeast of Drosha in the southwestern part of Damascus Countryside, a military source said.
The source said the strikes resulted in killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their weapons, munitions, and hideouts that they were hiding in.

Battlefield update from northern Aleppo
ALEPPO, SYRIA (5:45 A.M.) – The recent advances by the Kurdish-led “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) has partially blocked the Turkish-backed rebels from reaching the key town of Al-Bab in northeast Aleppo.
As a result of this advance, the Syrian Democratic Forces now find themselves in Turkey’s way, as the latter attempts to expand their operations inside Syria.
Not to be left out, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has also intensified their military operations in northern Aleppo, capturing a number of small villages near the strategic Sheikh Najjar Industrial District.
The Syrian Arab Army has recently coordinated with the Syrian Democratic Forces in northern Aleppo, enraging the Turkish regime that is attempting to expel the Kurdish forces from northern Syria.
