RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Palestinian Authority’s militias under the command of Mahmoud Abbas reportedly kidnapped on Sunday 13 Palestinian citizens affiliated with Hamas in Nablus, Salfit and Tulkarem including one teacher and eight ex-detainees in Israeli jails.
The PA in Ramallah also issued new decisions to dismiss three teachers in Nablus, Jenin and the village of Jalbun because of their affiliation with Hamas.
In the context of the security coordination between the PA and Israel, the IOF troops kidnapped a student at Al-Quds open university in Nablus who was already detained many times in PA jails.
For their part, Hamas prisoners in Israeli jails strongly denounced Salam Fayyad’s illegitimate government and Fatah faction for their arbitrary practices against Hamas in the West Bank, saying they went too far in their crimes.
“With these discriminatory measures, it builds a new apartheid wall between the one people to inaugurate a new phase stating that any Palestinian not affiliated with Fatah has no rights and must be kidnapped, dismissed or killed,” Hamas prisoners underlined in a letter leaked from Israeli jails.
In a related context, the Palestinian ministry of information in Gaza Strip said Sunday that the media plan published lately by Fatah to confront Hamas and its government increases the tension in the Palestinian arena.
In a statement published by Al-Rai newspaper, the ministry affirmed that Firas press website affiliated with Fatah had published the details of a media plan prepared by a specialized committee inside Fatah to undermine the popularity of Hamas and its government through the media and to highlight Fatah and its government as the only legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people.
