GAZA, (PIC)-- The military wing of Hamas Movement, the Qassam Brigades (QB), said on Wednesday that any Israeli escalation in Gaza Strip won't be met with words but with fire and iron because the "enemy understands no language but the language of force".

The QB also underlined that the resistance path was and still is the most effective way to resist the "abhorred" Israeli occupation.

In a press release published on the group's website on the internet, the spokesman of the QB, Abu Obaida, pointed out that the fresh Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip was a continuation to the obvious Zionist program of pursuing their war on the Palestinian people.

He added, "We expect such stubbornness from the leaders of the Zionist occupation as they started to publicly announce their malicious intentions and stating that peace was part of the fictitious past".

He also highlighted that the recent IOF troops' incursion in Gaza Strip reflect the security and military nightmare that the Zionist "thugs" were living in.

But he stressed that it is the Palestinian resistance that decides ways and means of the resistance and at the proper time and place, underscoring that the Palestinian resistance won't allow the occupation to drag it to the trap in order to uncover resistance tactics and strength of the Palestinian resistance.

The QB official also belittled the Israeli threats against the Gaza Strip, stressing that the Israeli occupation couldn’t exterminate the Palestinian resistance despite the military might it possesses as evident with the latest Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip last January.

"Those threats won't frighten us as we know that we are right and we fight for the sake of the freedom and independence of our country for which we are prepared to pay the ultimate price. Let the enemy threaten, but we are firm that we won't lay down arms unless we win or die as martyrs", underscored Abu Obaida.
