Mishaal: Hamas will remain facing the global arrogance until achieving victory

TEHRAN, (PIC)-- Khaled Mishaal, the head of Hamas's political bureau, stated Sunday in Tehran that his Movement alongside the Palestinian people and resistance would continue to face the global arrogance until the achievement of victory.

During his meeting with Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Mishaal added that Hamas would foil the enemies’ plots with its faith, steadfastness and common sense.

He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to Iran’s leadership and people for their non-stop support for the Palestinian people and resistance.

For his part, Ahmadinejad said that faith and resistance are key factors in the achievement of major victories against the world’s arrogant powers, stressing that Israel’s crimes and the deceptive policies of the US administration would not save their authoritarian regimes.

He also hailed the fortitude of Hamas and its resistance, stressing that Iran would continue its support for the Palestinian people against the Zio-American arrogance.

For his part, Hamas official Ezzat Al-Resheq told the Palestinian information center (PIC) that the Hamas delegation to Iran headed by Mishaal briefed the Iranian leadership on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena especially the failure of the peace process and the escalating Judaization activities in occupied Jerusalem.

Resheq, who participated in the delegation, added that the Hamas leadership also highlighted its keenness on ending the inter-Palestinian division and the success of the Egyptian mediation efforts.

A delegation of Hamas officials led by Mishaal has arrived at dawn Sunday in Iran on an official visit to meet with the Iranian leadership.

Ahmadinejad to Meshaal: Iran Will Always Stand By Resistance

13/12/2009 Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad renewed on Sunday Iran's support for the Palestinian "resistance" in a meeting with the Hamas Resistance movement leader Khaled Meshaal.

"The Iranian nation and government will always stand by the resistance and the oppressed Palestinian people," he told Meshaal, state television reported.

Ahmadinejad predicted that "the fall of the global arrogance and the Zionist regime will be quick and simultaneous."

For his part, Meshaal, who arrived in Tehran earlier the same day, vowed that "Hamas, the resistance and Palestinians will continue to battle the global arrogance until final victory."
