Bahar calls for capturing more soldiers

GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Ahmed Bahar, the first deputy speaker of the Palestinian legislative council, has called on Palestinian resistance factions to capture more Israeli soldiers to force their government to release Palestinian prisoners.

Addressing a march of children, relatives of prisoners, lighting candles on Monday night, Bahar said that solidarity with the Palestinian freedom fighters, held in Israeli occupation jails, is a national duty.

He said that the PLC was exerting all efforts possible to ensure freedom of those prisoners, describing the issue as a PLC priority.

Bahar thanked the transitional Arab parliamentary union for holding a special session on the issue of Palestinian prisoners by mid May.

Tens of Palestinian children took part in the march with candles that ended at the PLC premises demanding the immediate release of 330 minors in occupation jails.
