Islamic Jihad calls for giving up Oslo and shunning settlement process

GAZA, (PIC)-- Islamic Jihad movement has called for terminating the "futile" Oslo project and shunning the illusion of a settlement process, which only led to more concessions.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Jihad leaders Khaled Al-Batesh and Ahmed Al-Mudalal called for public outrage in rejection of the "criminal enemy's decision to expel our people from their own homeland" and in refusal of the policy of demolishing homes in Jerusalem.

Mudalal said that Palestinians should unite their ranks and end the illusion of peace that turns Palestine into investment ventures in which multi-national companies exploit the Palestinians as slaves.

The Oslo accords were drafted to serve the Israeli occupation's interests and turn the Palestinians into hostages under the full domination of occupation, he charged.

The Jihad leader asked the Ramallah authority and its militias to stop harassing the people and quelling marches, and to allow them to display their rage against the abhorred occupation.
