NAZARETH, (PIC)-- The Israeli military commandership of the central region expressed its satisfaction of the level of security cooperation between its troops and Mahmoud Abbas’s militias both with regard to eliminating the risk of the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank or protecting the settlers.
This came during a meeting between Avi Mizrahi, the central region commander, and heads of settlement councils, where the former removed their fears against the weapons of Abbas’s militias and reassured them that the current Palestinian authority (PA) is deferent from its predecessor.
“We are standing by for any emergency and ready for any scenario that could come to your minds, but the security coordination with the Palestinians is in our favor, we, the Israelis and an essential part of the calm taking place in the West Bank,” he further reassured.
