DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- Khaled Mishaal, the political bureau chairman of Hamas, has said that the Palestinian resistance was entitled to retaliate to the Israeli aggression.
Mishaal, speaking after a meting for the higher follow up committee of the Palestinian national conference in Damascus on Saturday night, said that the battle with the "Zionist entity" was open before all options.
For his part, Ahmed Jibril, the secretary general of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine – general command, said that his front supported national dialog leading to reconciliation but would not accept to recognize Israel and the international quartet conditions.
The committee in a statement criticized the PA in Ramallah for cooperating with the Israeli occupation forces and its illegitimate government led by Salam Fayyad for quelling resistance.
It appreciated Arab and regional leaders who supported resistance, and expressed disappointment at the outcome of the recent Arab summit.

GAZA, (PIC)-- Major Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip have agreed on the right of all resistance factions to defend themselves and their people within a unified and joint strategy.
Ismail Al-Ashqar, representing Hamas in the meeting on Saturday, described it as "positive" during which agreement was reached a number of important issues.
He told the PIC that the factions also agreed on more coordination among resistance forces in face of any possible attack on the Gaza Strip.
The MP said agreement was also reached on organizing joint rallies in major issues such as the prisoners, the separation wall, Jerusalem and national reconciliation.
Representatives of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, PFLP and DFLP attended the meeting while Fatah did not attend despite receiving an invitation.
Khaled Al-Batesh, an Islamic Jihad leader, told the PIC after the meeting that all factions endorsed resistance against the enemy with all available means.
He hoped that such meetings would lead to ending the Palestinian division and restoring national cohesion.
Nejad warns Israel of attacking Gaza
[ 04/04/2010 - 07:38 AM ]
TEHRAN, (PIC)-- Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has warned Israel of launching a fresh attack on the Gaza Strip, which is still reeling from the results of the last destructive 22-day Israeli offensive.
He said in a speech southeast of Iran on Saturday that the Israelis were looking for any justification to attack Gaza, "And I tell the Zionists and their supporters enough of your crimes".
The myth of invincible Israel has gone for ever, he said, adding that Israel was trying to preserve its image as an invincible power to maintain its existence.
Ahmadinejad said, however, that the myth was shattered when Israel was defeated twice in south Lebanon and in Gaza.
The president charged the big powers of giving Israel a green light to commit crimes and violate laws whenever necessary.
