Hundreds of the Syrians on Sunday gathered near the American Embassy in Damascus expressing their rejection of the American policy of meddling in the Syrian internal affairs.
The demonstrators stressed through the banners which they carried that the interference of the USA against Syria will only enhance the unity of the Syrian people, wondering about human rights in Iraq and Lebanon.
The demonstrators chanted slogans denouncing the policy of double standards adopted by the USA and the UN, and other banners, hailing the national unity witnessed by Syria.
In a statement to SANA, Media Student, Rita Qajou said “We came here to tell America that we reject any interference in our affairs.”
Another student said “The USA has destructed every country it has entered, and we tell them to stop their interferences.”
While other student stressed that the international resolutions will only increase the determination of the Syrian people to adhere to their national unity under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
