Miles of Smiles to send 3 more aid convoys to Gaza

GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Issam Yousef, the general coordinator of Miles of Smiles 4, said that three new aid convoys would be sent to the Gaza Strip within the coming three months including one later this month.
 
Yousef, who was speaking Monday evening at a meeting between Gazan premier Ismail Haneyya and an international youth delegation that entered Gaza along with the convoy, called for continuing such convoys to Gaza until the siege is broken.
He said that the first such convoy would arrive in Gaza by the end of Ramadan, the second in between the two Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha feasts, and the third during Eidul Adha.
For his part, Haneyya said that the youth around the world side with the Palestinian people and their cause.
The premier hailed the aid convoys coming to Gaza from various world areas, saying that they carry a clear message mainly that Gaza was not alone in face of siege and aggression.

Miles of Smiles enter Gaza with badly needed medicines

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Miles of Smiles 4 aid convoy entered the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border terminal on Sunday night bringing with it urgently needed medicines and special formula baby milk.
Security sources at the Rafah crossing told the PIC reporter that the convoy consisted of eight vehicles including ambulance cars and buses for the special needs.
The sources said that 35 solidarity activists accompanied the convoy.
