20 Palestinians arrested in protests following mosque arson

NAZARETH, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation police arrested at dawn Wednesday 20 Palestinians following a day of rage over the burning of a mosque in the Upper Galilee area of the 1948-occupied Palestinian territories.
A police spokesman said that those arrested are being held for questioning and that more arrests would follow.
The same morning, Israeli occupation forces arrested eleven Palestinians who it described as “wanted” across the West Bank, Israeli Radio reported.
Sources reported five of those arrests in Kaf Qaddoum, east of Qalqilya.
IOF troops arrested two Palestinians in raids of several homes in Qabalan and Awarta villages south of the West Bank city of Nablus, locals reported.
The IOF also set up random checkpoints on various roads across the West Bank as troops stormed villages in Jenin district.
Locals also reported that IOF military vehicles entered Jalboun village and bolstered presence at the western entrance of Ya’bad near coal factories in pursuit of workers there.

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested 11 Palestinians in the West Bank provinces of Ramallah, Al-Khalil, Qalqilia, and Nablus at dawn Wednesday.

Local sources reported that five young men were taken from Kufr Qaddoum village to the east of Qalqilia city while two were taken from Nablus village and the others from Ramallah and Qalqilia.

The Hebrew radio claimed that the detainees were wanted for interrogation without mentioning their identity or affiliation.

The IOF soldiers daily raid and nab Palestinians in the West Bank, alleging that they were wanted for the security apparatuses.
