As-Safir: Syria Seizes Shipment of Israeli Weapons in Homs

Lebanese daily As-Safir quoted a security source as saying that Syria has seized a shipment of Israeli weapons in Homs-Tartous highway.

In its Wednesday edition, the daily cited the source as saying: “Syrian forces have seized two cars laden with weapons, explosive devices and night vision goggles in Homs-Tartous highway”.

“Following inspecting these devices, it was proven that its source was Israel. It included machine guns of “Oozy” type, and it was headed to Syria from Lebanon’s north”, the source added.

Syrian has been for months braced for what so-called national revolution. Under the name of this "revolution", unknown militants, likely to be western infiltrators, killed dozens of civilians, in an attempt to damage the reputation of President Bshar Assad.
